What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

A full english for brunch today sans the carbs stuff, OK, bacon, eggs and mushrooms.
Mid afternoon, a slice of my olive oil chocolate cake - well, I made it so I can scoff it.
Dinner, a pizza, cheese, almond flour and pork scratchings base. Not a lot in the cupboard so blitzed a couple of tomatoes for a slurry and topped with sliced onion, more tomato a few blobs of pate and a handful of grated parmesan. Happy days.
What’s for pudding? Oh! Chocolate cake and cream - don’t mind if I do.

Ahahhhh. But, but,..I have p lenty more gadgets to tempt you with!

I was in the Korean supermarket today and bought quite a big bag of kimchi. They had all sortss of kimchi, but for today I stuck with some cabbage based deliciousness (I hope). I left the Chonggak radish/ponytail radish variant for another day.

Hi everyone! Not much to report here, just OMAD for me. Lots of herbal tea and water, coffee with cream to start the day. Dinner was leftover goulash with cauli mash followed by SF jelly and clotted cream. A cheeky small piece of Hotel Chocolat Easter egg, decaf coffee and cream.

@Goonergal I'm glad you found some Aqua Libre flavours you like.

Hi all quick entry as pretty shattered after early start but wonderful journey and loving being back in Dundee plus sun has been shining - don’t remember that!
Breakfast on first train - four slices of bacon and lots and lots of coffee with cream bought carton of cream to take with me.
Lunch on second train hot smoked salmon with mayo and lettuce with gin and slimline tonic followed by coffee and cream - loving the freebies on first class
Dinner Nando’s half a chicken with mayo, half an advococdo and dry white Portuguese wine.
Off to the seaside part of Dundee - broughty ferry - tomorrow as another lovely day forecast.

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries and cream washed down with a black coffee.
Late Lunch: Greek yoghurt with chia seeds, espresso coffee powder, sweetener and a spoonful of LC chocolate granola.
Mid afternoon: black coffee.
Dinner: salmon fillets with peppercorn sauce and Mediterranean veggies followed by SF jelly, cream and LC chocolate granola and a small piece of Lindt dark choc Easter egg.
Measured out my Easter Egg into 10g portions today

We've been eating ours in 10g chunks too. Not organised enough to do it in advance though!

Will you be bringing home Arbroath Smokies?

Oh...forgot to mention, some lovely LC recipes in Waitrose Food Magazine this month. Egg muffins with smoked salmon, asparagus with romesco sauce, crab and asparagus salad. Also discovered Unearthed Bavarian frankfurters in Waitrose today

I'd forgotten about romesco sauce, I made it years ago to serve with scallops and it was delicious. Quite LC too.

I had a Lidl roll toasted with lashings of butter, in celebration of being able to eat again. Dinner was fillet steak and British asparagus with more butter followed be English strawberries and cream.

Sounds delicious.

Oh WOW! How fantastic for you. What helped you? Have the meds kicked in?

Fantastic!!!! That is excellent news.

But was this a high protein Lidl roll, and where the heck did you get it from? I have been in withdrawal since last year when they stopped making them.

Lunch yesterday: Toasted (HB Low Carb bread) cheese and onion sandwiches.
Dinner: Mutton chops and veggies.
Breakfast: Cheesey omelette, bacon, tomato, reheated spudlite.

Drinks: Black coffee no sugar / sweeteners, water.

I'm behind all the way to my last post which I may have sent while asleep...
Today was The Last Day, which means piles of laundry, shutting up house, blahblah, and has traditionally been for me a Starbux bottled Frappucchino+chocolate chips. All day. We modify that to scrambled eggs, DWSAH&H, celery, seltzer, the leftover from tea party blue cheese, airport food=Starbux sous vide egg white bites, decaf Americano. Supper will be the last bits of brown bread with butter. Eat what you want all the stressful day and hang the consequences. Good night and good morning all!

@charlie000 I get flavored seltzer. My store brand offers flavors of Dr Pepper, Coke, root beer. Not bad at all. I was never a soda drinker but love root beer and Dr Pepper

I had it flown in from Germany! I have a few more in the freezer.

I have been defrosting a leg of Herdwick lamb in the fridge for 2 days. It's going in the oven tomorrow. I am going to have a feast

I’ve made mackerel pate and frozen several little pots of it in the past. Same as chicken liver pate. It works well.

That’s true dedication, measuring the Easter egg.
