What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries and cream washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and Low carb brownie
Late Lunch: Chicken drumstick followed by Greek yoghurt, strawberries and macadamia and coconut keto granola.
Dinner: gammon slow cooked in orange Fanta zero, mixed veggies, one tiny roast potato and gravy made from meat juices thickened with flax seed followed by SF jelly, cream and LC chocolate granola
 
@maglil55 I'm with @shelley262 Time to try and find out what is wrong. Surely if you tell the surgery you have been ill for nearly two months they will have to take you seriously?
Unless, ofc tomorrow you are completely recovered. Which would be the best possible outcome.
 
@maglil55 I'm with @SlimLizzy and @shelley262 - its far too long to be feeling so ill. It sounds so awful and must be horrible for you. Please, please see a doctor and/ or get a virus test (preferably both). xx

Breakfast: 2x CWC, Nut granola, ham melt.

CWC

lunch: Avocado, cheese and tomato with lettuce and radish, must take a photo, they are beautiful. water and tea.

afternoon: tea half a dozen walnuts to keep me going.

Dinner, teryaki salmon,buttered cabbage, green beans and peas. Glass of wine

Might have a cup of tea later.
 

If you do think the chances of seeing a doctor are low but would actually like to get some advice, I would try at least to get a telephone consultation. It may be that the virus has gone but left some secondary infection and it might be as well to check.
 
Breakfast: Usual cheese and mushroom omelette, bacon, tomatoes.
Lunch: Couple of Bro's meat pies, we were having a what the moment...
Dinner: Steak and veggies, gravy.

Drinks: Black coffee, water.

It's the Labour Day holiday today, it will be a quite one this year as the march has been cancelled for obvious reasons. No parties / barbeques at home either.

So we will march around the front yard to this great song...

A high SPO2 in >90% range, and lower heart rate around 60 to 70 bpm and I an happy keeps AFib and hypoxia away...

 

Given a chance, so is mine! Unlike you I put weight on easily, so it’s an obvious candidate to be cut down on. That and nut butter - a deadly combination.

Planning a carnivore pizza for today when I get back from my walk.
 
Good Morning All!

I am celebrating this grey, wet, chilly spring day with a fortifying breakfast of lc hot choc and some steak and kidney crustless filling that I discovered in the freezer over the weekend.

What an excellent way to start the week.
 
Good morning all - I hope @maglil55 and @Annb - and anyone else feeling poorly - are feeling better today. x

Breakfast: After getting a phone call half way through getting breakfast I was left with two hard boiled eggs (should have been boiled eggs and Burgen soldiers) so I had egg mayo on Burgen bread - quite nice for breakfast - might make again

Lunch: bit of brie and an Actimel drink

Dinner: a cross between minestrone soup and veg stew - a mixture of swede, carrot, peppers, fennel, celery, onion, cannellini beans, tinned chopped tomatoes, various herbs, some broken up bits of aldi black spaghetti and a splodge of red wine served with a spoonful of pesto and extra grated parmesan
 
Afternoon all. Lovely long walk in the sun this morning - shorts and t-shirt for almost all of it. Very enjoyable indeed.

Just eaten well-deserved OMAD of carnivore pizza. Base made with ground Awfully Posh Pork Crackling, whipped creamy cheese and grated mozzarella/cheddar. Topped with more cheese, chorizo, pepperoni and salami. Delicious. Cooked in the airfryer again - @DCUKMod your idea to put one shelf on top of the other to prevent flying meat worked really well. Thanks.

 
Breakfast two boiled eggs and half a toasted chaffle
Lunch cheese lc seeded crackers and couple of squares 100% montezumas with almonds
Dinner Cajun chicken and salad followed by lc lemon pudding with yoghurt and cream.
Working day today but also managed to get a couple of hours gardening in the sunshine late afternoon.
 
Evening all @maglil55 let me add my voice to the others, it’s time to call the doctor, you may have a secondary infection and need antibiotics, you’ve been suffering too long.
Today I’ve been fairly well controlled, no snacks, sweet stuff or booze. ( the evening is still fairly young though)
Coffee this morning.
Lunch:2 tuna melt muffins and salad.
Dinner: Bacon cheeseburger with avocado salsa and h/m mayo
 
I was so full of steak and kidney, from breakfast that I just had a bit of goatsmilk yog.

Dinner was stir fried chicken in chilli, cream and lime. Delicious.

Too wet for gardening today and 3 restless mutts are proof that it was too wet for walking too.
Which means we have an evening of wrestling, rough and tumble, cushion digging, flying leaps, 3 horse races, rugby tackles, and a bit of lap chess. Much more energetic than just a walk.
 
The evening, we had what we affectionately refer to as "The Cheesie Thing". For my half, the cheesie thing is cauliflower in a rich cheese sauce, with lardons through it. MrB' half is macaroni cheese, with lardons through it too. There is copious cheese on top, which forms a lovely browned top.

Today. I found MrB rummaging through the various charcuterie options, and triumphantly suggested swapping the lardons for chorizo. Oh boy -game changer!

Chorizo had a little AF experience, before being chopped and added. Without that sweating/crisping, I think the concoction could have become overly oily.

The addition of the smokey, salty deliciousness changed the whole thing.

My prediction for The Cheesie Thing is the days of lardons are in the past, for a while at least.

If cheesie things are to your liking, I recommend it.
