Well who knew I could hide things so effectively. Back from a week away and headed to Waitrose and Lidl to buy vast quantities of meat. While in Lidl I picked up a bar of their 85% chocolate, completely forgetting that I’d hidden a bar of Lindt 90% on top of the back cans of Diet Coke on the top shelf of the fridge so I couldn’t see it! It only came to view as I was struggling to fit everything I’d bought in.
Anyway, 2 squares of the 85% have now been consumed. That followed some air fried pork belly pieces and this morning’s cashew nuts.
No pics.
Brilliant solution, and picturesBeen at my late parents house for the last couple of days clearing things we want to keep before house clearance come in, so eating has been a bit hap hazard. Kept low carb though, even going out for a family lunch today at my Mum’s favourite place. I’ll just post lunch, difficult menu to choose from to keep low carb, but this is how I managed!

I need an "envy" buttonWeekend of sailing.
As a rule, we (captain and deckhand) eat with the guests, and usually I don't because carbs.
We had a very long and beautiful sailing day, arriving at the harbour at 9pm, so the guests had cooked underway.
A very good green curry. They ate downstairs but no problem to bring us a plate, and no problem at all to leave out the rice for me, which meant they had unknowingly cooked a perfect low carb meal!
Having dinner while sailing in the sunset, doesn't get much better than that!

After docking I was just in time to take my dogs to the beach for a short swim before dark (I swam, dogs prefer to keep their bellies dry)!

Lots of deckhands needed at the moment so you can always consider a change of career!I need an "envy" button
Hope it was a great day and the weather was kind. All the food sounds perfect especially the morning after bacon & mushroom brekkie! How annoying about the Libre though, they are so expensive anyway.Yesterday was daughters wedding and apart from too much champagne, food was pretty ok. BBQ with salads for main meal and they gave me a huge cheeseboard instead of cake.
Today breakfast, still at venue which is a pretty forest campsite. Bacon and mushroom roll - I’d had the foresight to bring SLC roll along.
A long day of packing up but a lovely freshwater lake swim lifted our spirits.
Various snack foods - nuts, pepperami, seedy crackers, cheese and , because I’d accidentally pulled my Libre off my arm with a week left on it, I was annoyed with myself and ate a small apple - no way to check the effect but I loved it!
Dinner - from freezer Carne Guisada ( spicy mince) with cauli rice. Glass of red. Looking forward to my own bed now.
