Congratulations with your dad!D- tiny airfried wild mallard breast. Served with parmesan mushrooms and @maglil55 ‘s spinach/Santini toms. Couple of glasses of champagne to toast my dad who would have been 96 today and loved champagne.
Congratulations with your dad!
(I'm Dutch, and we tend to congratulate all family members, friends, and neighbours with the birtday of the person celebrating, so nothing odd about this for me. I still get congratulated with the birthdays of my parents, doesn't matter that they passed away years ago.)
I'm all for toasting our loved and missed ones to remember them!
Your parmesan mushrooms look amazing, how do you make them? I just bought a new piece of parmesan yesterday and the mushrooms are on offer this week so...
Todays evening meal will be the same as yesterday: shawarma meat, onion, bell pepper and mushrooms (told you they were on offer) with a generous portion of extra garlicky zaziki.
Oh my.Just had my grocery order delivered from Tesco. I had included in the order Tesco Gouda and Edam Crispies. Bad mistake. They are so moreish. They are tiny and each one has 2.1 g carbs. Had 4 before I stopped myself. Must really ration myself and must buy no more! Oh, but they are good. I'm getting away with it because my BG was alfready running low but can't make assumptions about that continuing if I eat more.
I'm unwilling to give them away, although Em had one and liked it. No, I will be firm and ration myself. The first step was to put them away in a box that is difficult to access. Did that. Next step is to be sure to say no to myself when I think of them and I hope that will be enough.Oh my.
I'm very impressed you managed to stop at 4, they're just too good!
Can you give them away before the rest of the pack gets eaten? Having them in the house sounds like serious torture.
No, is it ever with meLooks great. Is the crumb just parmesan and garlic powder, fried?
No, is it ever with me. Parmesan, some almond flour (more Parmesan than almond flour), Sprinkle of Italian herbs, and garlic powder. The chicken was beaten very flat as I needed it cooking quickly as the heavier load of Parmesan would burn if the frying was too long.
I gave up on the plastic cutlery and got gloriously messy. 7 serviettes messy! Yummy.
