Hi @Rachox, I see you mention these quite a lot - would you see a bar as a lunchtime meal replacement? I'm looking to vary my options a bit as my daily schedule can be a bit reactive at the moment...
I don’t use them as a meal replacement as such, I just have them as snacks with coffee between breakfast and dinner. I guess they could be, it just depends if they fill you up enough. They contain Polyols as sweetener and can affect some people’s blood sugars. I’m ok with them and they satisfy my sweet tooth.

Thanks! I'm still getting the hang of all this and got some Diablo sugar-free retro sweets from Amazon : similar sweetener composition. I'll try a bar this weekend and see how it goes.

I was awake all last night with sciatica so this morning I was tired, cold, grumpy and hungry. Comfort food breakfast of keto coconut porridge.
Lunch was a tuna muffin, a bag of Curator’s pork crunch and a Cox apple peel.
Went round daughter’s for dinner - they’ve been trying Mindful Chef boxes and are really impressed. Tonight’s meal was Singapore noodles with tempeh ( I had courgetti rather than noodles) it was delicious, great level of spice. I’ve never tried tempeh before so that was a good experience.

Todays evening meal was some leftover shawarma meat fried with onions, bell pepper and garlic, served on a bed of raw endive by way of lettuce and onion, topped with a rather thin spicy garlic sauce.
Tasted great, looked horrifying enough thanks to the thin sauce to not want to confront you with a picture. :hilarious:
Next time I'll have the salad bits on top for looks.

Tomorrow will be an adventure: I'm having a date through a dating site and after me mentioning low carb and him mentioning preferring vegetarian we decided to do the shopping and cooking together to cater to both of our preferences, followed by beer and whisky.
Can't promise to let you know what we've eaten tomorrow but will update you the day after!
