Breakfast was keto coconut porridge and blueberries
Lunch- salad with leftover chicken from yesterday. DGF crumble and clotted cream.
Dinner- Slow cooker beef stew with L/c pasta. Thanks @shelley262 for the tip of soaking it all day before adding to the stew. It did make a difference.
Photo of lunch as it’s prettier than the stew.

Today's menu. Lunch... lamb shank, cauli and sprouts with touch of gravy. 5pm, boiled eggs and mayo with fresh tomato. Then again, if it's cold, might change that to scrambled eggs! Have a great day all. :)
Any roasties today? I'm going to a café for lunch today, so there probably will be some roasties involved. If I get a picture I'll post it later. Enjoy your lamb shank.

Breakfast kefir then poached egg on one slice of low carb toast

Dinner pot roast beef with cauliflower cheese, stock cooked in in slow cooker and one roastie cooked in duck fat from frozen - @IanBish- know you are fond of roasties. I find I can tolerate one which I've par boiled and open frozen.

Followed by low carb crumble and spoon of cream

@IanBish, no, no roasties. I love them but I am testing out which foods spike me. Yours and @shelley262 look so tempting. Can't find an emoji for 'sad'!
I have roasties every so often. I didn't get my roast dinner today; the café closed quite early. Instead I had an all-day brunch, which consisted of two sausages, two fried eggs, some bacon, black pudding, a dollop of baked beans, and seven chips. It could have been worse.

@RosemaryJackson A sad emoji might be useful - we'll have to ask an Admin to add one.

Moorning all. I only ate half the lamb shank yesterday so I'll finish it off and cook fresh veg with it today. Waste not want not as they say. It's weighing-in night so I'll probably have a ham and cheese roll. Have found I can only have the odd bread roll or slice because bread spikes me. I'm thinking of getting some lc rolls. Any suggestions which are best?

Breakfast kefir then cooked some mushrooms in olive oil and served with a poached egg
Lunch small salad and kimchi with a small amount of grated cheese plus one low carb seeded cracker
Dinner left over cooked pot roast beef served with salad followed by a DGF low carb chocolate brownie and spoon of yoghurt.
@RosemaryJackson I now mainly use one of the supermarket low carb loaves either Livlife from Waitrose or Hilo from Sainsbury's I freeze a loaf and toast from frozen - they are cheaper than low carb rolls and bread from low carb bakeries. I've had and liked low carb rolls from all the following:
The low carb company
SRSLY
Keto chefs
Heylo
Or you can get mixes to help make your own
I'm just about to try some of their mixes as free delivery I'm going to try their sample pack. I gather that Deliciously Guilt Free use some of their mixes for rolls and wraps and I have bought and enjoyed wraps and rolls from DGF so this may be a cheaper way for me.
Hope this helps.
