Hi @Amanda61 - I have been making my own bread for several years and now being diagnosed T2 I am on the hunt for a decent bread recipe. Best on that I have found for myself so far is the Wheat and Bran Low-carb bread recipe that I posted here: ://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/bread-and-bread-recipes.77958/I would like to make my own bread.
I've seen quite a nice recipe which contains
Almond & coconut flour. Gosh isn't it expensive
Nearly had a heart attack when I saw the price.
Does anyone here know the best place were I can
Buy on- line?
I love ice- cream in the summer and I can't eat normal
Stuff. But have seen a recipe for coconut ice-cream
Which I will put up in the recipe section.

Ingredients are a bit pricey and I get most of mine on Amazon.
Hope your Mum gets better soon and that things get better for you too. You have so much to cope with right now...and you really deserved that fry upI'm under a lot of stress at the moment - my mum is in hospital with MRSA and my brother (who is autistic and lives with her) is struggling with the change in routine. Their house is a half hour walk away from mine so I'm spending a lot of time walking there and back, which is playing havoc with my BG. I was feeling especially low when I got back this afternoon so I thought sod it - let's have an almighty great fry upSo I fried some bacon, sausages and onions, made some scramblers and added some sliced mushrooms and chopped tomatoes - it was just what I needed
Thanks Gezzabelle, I thought so tooHope your Mum gets better soon and that things get better for you too. You have so much to cope with right now...and you really deserved that fry up
Just made some creamed spinach. May have it with roast chicken tomorrow evening or bake an egg in it for my breakfast
Loving fat bombs as evening treat butter, coconut oil, peanut butter, cocoa/coffee and tad xylitol
Ice cube tray. Freeze. Yum
Love those sausages but The Black Farmer ones are even better if you happen to see themMr A is laughing at my breakfast today, but I really enjoyed it!
1 sliced Debbie & Andrew's 97% sausage (left over from dinner last night) with 3 silverskin pickled onions and an ounce of cheddar cut into cubes. Reminded me of party food
