I just bought some chia seed today, and plan to try it soon (not tomorrow, as have other goodies to enjoy!) - really looking forward to it.Good morning... If you like chocolate pudding you could make it with Stevia - much better sweetener I gather... Cacao powder and chia seed seems to be the low-carb favourite here... the recipe is in the Low Carb Recipe thread on the forum... it's a bit like tapioca!!
Breakfast.....coffee
Lunch....Half Lidl roll spread with one portion of Boursin Garlic and herb cheese (yummy) and chopped tomato
Dinner.....3 high meat pork sausages, mushrooms, tomato and avocado...all cooked in butter with half a Lidl roll buttered
raspberries and jelly
Never liked avocado but find that throwing it in sliced up with any meat I am having...e.g bacon or sausage makes it quite yummy....bit high on the carbs maybe but they are supposed to be good for me so perhaps the good bit out weighs the carbs?
Well I had a whole one sliced up and fried lightly in the butter I cooked the sausages in....they were delicious and I had no adverse spike which is even betterHi @Gezzabelle
Avocados run at about 17g carbs per whole one but they have loads of fibre so the net carbs are really low They're also an excellent source of 'good' fats & potassium so definitely good for the low carber - I'd stick with them if they don't spike you.

Went out last night to a little Italian restaurant.
Had stuffed mushrooms in a tomato bechamel sauce
and chicken wrapped in mozzarella and pancetta, it had
A marinara sauce with that. Thought I'd picked right." WRONG"
Woke up early this morning feeling very sick and my stomach
Is swollen, rock solid more like, so god knows what was in the
Sauce... Probably oodles of carbs and sugar.. My husband who
Isn't diabetic has been following the LCHF with me, was also
Unwell and had visited the toilet more than once.
Ah well ' live and learn'.
