What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Not diabetic, but am on low carb for weight loss. I know two people who were previously type 2 and they no longer need meds because of a low carb diet for diabetics. They also lost a ton of weight. Hope it's okay to join in here.

B: plain soy yogurt w/fresh strawberries and stevia, tea w/soy milk
S: coffee w/almond milk
L: 3 eggs, 3 bacon
D: veggie curry w/Quorn (no rice), salad with 6 veggies and 50g of full fat cheddar, light tonic water w/lime
S: 20g of dry roasted peanuts, 10g of blanched almonds, 3 squares of 85% cocoa dark chocolate
I have to count calories as well because I don't trust my judgment.
Total: 1262 calories 47g carbs

Thanks. I've been using a spreadsheet to track calories for about 5 or 6 years and I prefer this method. I'm now using one to calculate calories + carbs.

I looked for the Friday weigh in thread but can't seem to find it.

That Sainsburys drink is quite something. Just checked the nutritional info on it and it is great. One thing that bothers me is the almonds. It's weird I like to eat them but I'm not keen on them in almond milk or yoghurt. In fact I'm not keen on nuts anywhere other than plain. I'll give it a try though.

Theres no almondy taste to the drink - just v pleasant coffee taste. They do a vanilla one too, but Its nowhere near as nice and has a rather artificial taste - I wont be buying that one again. On the other hand, I have cleared my local sainsburys out of the coffee one ( they only had 3 bottles mind you)
