Wednesday:
B: none
L: a kind nut bar and a coffeesubstitute with cream
D: homemade beef cheeseburger without bun with a huge green salad, caramelised onion rings and a sprinkle of balsamic vinegar
Guessing at under 25g carbs
Thursday:
B: none
L: leftover cold beef burger, with 3 strawberries. not on the same plate.
D: Dr Oetker Gluten Free pizza. Apparently, now Mr B has learned that GF carbs aren't spiking me (see blue line in sig below) he believes that Pizza has become a macronutrient. Fortunately, neither of us thought very much of this pre-made pizza. He likes deep pan. I like adequate toppings. So neither of us were happy. I ended up adding tomato puree, olives, yellow pepper and quite a lot of cheese to get a sense that it was a meal, not a carb frisby. An entire pizza is approx 80g carbs. I ate mine in 2 halves, an hour apart, to spread the carb load, and was pleased with my blood glucose result.
Have been missing posting on this thread, so am going to continue to do so on days when my carbs are less than (approx) 100g a day. Which will be most days, because after decades of low carbing, the thought of higher carbs than that is pretty d%mn daunting!
