What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Meeting today and knew I wouldnt be able to eat unil 12.30 so had a spoon of peanutbutter on a cracker before I left the house. Turned out to be 1.30 and was ravenous!! Egg salad with 3 tiny pepperoni slices, then greek yog with walnuts.
Home to chicken thigh and stir fry veg and already in bed again with this rotten flu thingy

Hi all.

More feasting today.

Breakfast - none

Lunch - bag of pork crunch, peperami, small bar Coop 85% chocolate. Need to sort out some better lunch options for when I haven’t planned to eat/am on the run.

Dinner - very decadent. Sea bass fillet with a portion of Asda broccoli and courgette rice (also has spinach in it). Saw it the other day and thought it was worth a try. Quite nice (although needs a lot of seasoning), with a bit of crunch - https://groceries.asda.com/product/default/2-steam-bags-broccoli-courgette-rice/1000005038850 - followed by a Lidl protein roll with almond butter and a small slice of chocolate olive oil cake with cream.

Should keep me well fuelled for my early morning gym visit in the morning.
Sounds good hope it helped your gym trip. I was awake in early hours today there was a wild wind out there and thought about you and your early morning gym trips!

Take care you did the best thing it’s been so cold today wouldn’t have helped if you are poorly. I had several layers on but was physically shaking in the cold on barnsley and Sheffield railway stations think I’m missing my layer of fat insulation!
 
B= 3 egg omelette topped with 50g cheddar and a 95% meat Lidl sausage. Not as low carb as Sainsbury’s but haven’t seen the big pack for a while. 2g carbs

L= sausage to keep me going as breakfast was late 1g carbs. 2 of my homemade 100% cocoa sugar free truffles

D= 2 quarter pounder beef burgers and salad. 2 of my homemade 100% cocoa sugar free truffles. 12g carbs

Glad you survived your mum’s - sounds like you were well prepared.

Full of energy at the gym this morning - in by 4.15 am!! Have been hungry all day though. Skipped breakfast as usual. Ate lunch at Nando’s as I was working tonight attending an event and wasn’t sure what the food options would be. In the end there were a couple of good choices among the canapés: smoked salmon and creme fraiche (they were on little bits of bread, but easy to scoop the salmon off) and some chicken skewers - just avoided the dip. Then had a Lidl roll and chocolate olive oil cake with cream when I got home.

After 9 days of one meal a day, I’ve eaten so much this week. Would bet on having put weight on except that my belt feels like it’s about to go in another notch. Not sure what is going on!

Maybe the gym work is tightening the muscles I think that my Pilates helps to makes me slimmer in the middle and may be more important than weight as it’s how you look and feel well done you - but 4.15! What a star.

Bed on 5.2 FBG 5.7 and in 4's almost all day.
B. Again DD no bread breakfast sandwich. Tassimo Americano grande with a dash of cream.
L. Nothing
D. 2 bits smoked salmon, last of the prawns, 3 Santini tomatoes, tablespoon Helmanns, 1/2 avocado and a dollop of cream cheese.
2 squares Lindt 90%.
Can't be bothered really - Hubby at football and just didn't feel like cooking anything for myself.
 
B - green smoothie - spinach, kale, almond milk, courgette and raspberries
L - 2 eggs scrambled, red onion fried in coconut oil, broccoli
D - made a tomato and coconut soup and it was lush, although bg running a bit higher today at 6 before the meal was still 6 after 2 hours - a first for anything I've tried so far!

You might be right. Weighed myself today and am more than a kilo heavier than last Friday, but body fat percentage is the same.
 
Quiet in here today.

Managed to get back to fasting today so no breakfast or lunch and boy was I ready for dinner!

Dinner was 2 Waitrose free range Cumberland sausages, 2 rashers bacon and a Birds Eye burger followed by chocolate olive oil cake with cream and 5 Hotel Chocolat 100% buttons.
 
Okay today but have moved back to 2 meals a day think I need more nutrition than one meal as so close to target and regularly hungry. I’m inclined now to see what happens re weight loss for a couple of weeks and if it the few pounds don’t shift move it down a gear then . Don’t expect to loose weight on Friday weigh in bloods have been back up in low 5 I think caused by stress.
Lunch prawn and advocado salad with a few seeds and nuts
Dinner beef casserole and cauliflower cheese followed by coffee and 100% cocoa buttons.
Adult autistic sons birthday tommorow he’s 42! I can’t believe it. We are surprising him with a smart phone he sticks to a very very old basic mobile he’s had for years so not sure if he’ll cope with it or not but going to give it a go we’ll see......
