Did it take practice? I offered a piece to my hubby today but he wants nothing to do with 100%.It is, but I managed 60g in one sitting yesterday.

I’m off to the seaside for a couple of days tomorrow after an early lunch, so dinner tomorrow night and all three meals on Monday will be eating out! Yikes! Wish me luck!
Thanks, yes I think we’ve been lucky to get a room for the night!Good luck! You’ve picked a brilliant couple of days to go to the coast.
You'll get it eventually. My first mix was crumbly at the edges. Second lot of dough was right but I forgot to stab it with a fork and it puffed up to quite a size. No problem , turned it over and added fillings to the other side. I use the dough hook on the Kenwood to mix mine now. It should look like playdoh when mixed. I also roll the dough between 2 sheets of greaseproof. I usually double the batch and wrap half in the top sheet of greaseproof and keep in the fridge. The other half roll out (stab with a fork) and blind cook on the greaseproof on a baking tray.Hope everyone enjoyed the lovely sunshine today!
I'm only now getting around to eating because I've been so busy. I planned to make Fathead pizza for the first time, but I don't think I did it correctly, as it just fell apart and was extremely eggy. I will persist! Backup dinner was two low carb bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, and an Adonis blondie for dessert (I'm addicted!).

I can knock the dough together quite quickly now.
Oil your hands before you roll it. Shouldn't be sticky. It's just a bit too wet if it is sticky.Mine was so sticky that it just didn't work. Maybe not enough almond flour? Thanks for the tips - I will definitely try a dough hook next time!
