What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yesterday:

Brunch: cheese omelette, creamy decaf
Dinner: two psyllium husk rolls (made with lots of seeds to make them more Lidl-y), two Quorn sausages, scrambled eggs.
Night out (Bunnymen in the park): vodka and peanuts (lots)

Yesterday ...
B - McDonald's double sausage & egg muffin without the muffin
L - Avocado, macadamia nuts
D - Chicken satay
S - Some of the pancakes that were described on this thread yesterday

Saturday

B: Courgette & walnut bread, camembert, brussels pate
L: Left over chicken, a tomato & 2 almond scones, raspberries & cream
D: Avocado & cheese salad with 1 medium new potato and garlic & olive oil dressing
S: 2 squares 85% dark chocolate

Today

B: Coconut / flax bread toasted with Philly cheese
L: avocado & brussels pate, raspberries & cream
S: 1 mini Babybel
D: Beef mince & assorted green veg, 60g new potato roasted in butter, fat bomb

B - chocolate pancake and sauce
L - onion soup with half a lidl roll cut into slices and made into cheesy toast bites
D - roast chicken, with streaky bacon, leftover aubergine bake from yesterday, buttery leeks and a mushroom with cheese on top

Feeling full!

Not the most exciting day today;

B: Half a Lidl roll toasted with copious amounts of butter, followed by Scrambled eggs, bacon, chipolatas, tom and mush
L: Cold BBQ'd Lamb leftover from yesterday and a small salad with a mayo/minty dressing
D: Pork fillet roasted in a red wine sauce with veggies

S: handful of walnuts

Gonna eat the other half of the Lidl roll tomorrow for brekkie with a more adventurous topping.

Brunch: cheese beano - low carb bread and lower carb beans, but was expecting a hit. Tested hourly for 3 hours and it barely registered. Odd.
Snack: creamy decaf and 85% chocolate
Dinner: Courgetti pesto with feta, sundried tomatoes, flaked almonds

Dinner: jumbo sausage, 3 slices bacon, 1fried egg and a slice of malted whole grain nimble.

Snacks: options Belgian hot chocolate with whipped cream, few slices of cheddar and a small bag of salted peanuts

Well not been posting as life getting in the way...

B: 500ml of water
a 2 egg omelette/ crustless quiche with lactofree cream, onion, parma ham, red peppers, parsley and coriander, grated cheese. All cooked in lashings of butter.

500ml water

L: nuts and slice of Stilton. Expresso coffee.

D: stewed mutton, mashed celeriac with huge amount of butter and a couple of grates of nutmeg. Sneaked a tiny amount of sweetcorn. Colslaw with homemade mayo (tastes so much better with cold pressed sunflower oil rather that EVOO).
1 glass of red wine.

I made an expresso coffee for a bulletproof, but couldn't face it... took the coconut oil out of the fridge. The butter on the side. Tablespoon out of the drawer. And na, not today. Tomorrow.

BS pp been within the +2 ranges, but overall numbers have been higher than I like. Foods been a bit rich. I need some full on salads me thinks tomorrow. Along with full water quota.

Today...
B - bulletproof coffee
L - big brekkie. 4 sausage, 4 bacon, poached egg.
D - asparagus in lemon pepper butter
Dinner was deliberately light because I'd had a big lunch and some snacks...
S - peperami & pork scratchings.

Yesterdays menu:

B: nothing
L: Toby Carvery: Turkey, beef, ham, 2 chipolatas, courgettes, red cabbage, peas, and then the naughty things: stuffing, cranberry sauce, 1/2 potato, and lots of gravy.
S: cheese puffs while wacthing movies...

Despite that I avoided the Yorkshire pudding and potatoes to a great extent, and that my portion of stuffing was small... my BG spiked to the 9's at one hour, and then back to base line of 5's after two... however I was expecting a lesser spike but I guess the gravy is loaded with starches and that wheat in any amount is just the devil... anyways... I enjoyed it :)

Have a lovely week everyone!

Ok stayed at Mum's last night and her coconut oil smelt off, so put that in the bin. But I did a 2 tablespoons of butter with half a sachet of beef gelatin in my coffee wizzed with the Bamix annnddd. It went down ok, but **** its like rocket fuel! Been whizzing around on a mission, working up a sweat. I'm debating making another with added coconut oil... but I do want to sleep at some point. Ha! I didn't puke.

Early breakfast: Lidl roll with melted cheese

Later breakfast: Greek yoghurt with pecans/walnuts & blueberries

Lunch: salad with left over lamb

Dinner: chicken breast with salad and cheese

.....a bit of a boring day
