So pleased you enjoyed the theatre and your jollies xHi all back home from my jollies lovely time especially the jersey boys
Breakfast little cafe and a bit complex they struggled with not doing standard breakfast and tried to give me toast, hash brown, beans etc etc so had to explain again - eventually simple bacon and egg arrived!
Lunch picnic cheese and ham rollitos from m and s and lc flapjack
Dinner at home large cheese and ham omlette and salad ( my purple tomatoes are just starting to ripen and are delicious but not too sweet) glass red wine followed by raspberry clafoutis and yoghurt.
Hope you feel better soon xBed 6.2 FBG 5.5. Sounds ok but it sure isn't. Still fluctuating wildly. Worst today was 9.1 but that was a swing from 3.6! I feel awful. Didn't attempt aqua today although the steam in the pool would have helped. Hot shower coming up soon.
B. Tassimo Americano grande with a dash of cream.
L. Hubby made me a lo dough toastie with ham and cheese.
Breyers choc ice (cool on the throat) and loads of icy water and paracetamol.
D. Couple of air fried chicken thighs and more icy water.
Hope I feel better tomorrow as the in laws are visiting on Sunday.
I actually wasn't aware they were gender specific, but my OH (who is main chef in this hacienda) always prefers 4-lobed peppers, where there is a choice, as they're usually sweeter, according to him. Now, I can tell him it's because they're lady peppers.
Not altogether sure he'll be impressed by that little nugget.
Are you still always following recipes, or are you starting to lob stuff into the cauldron and just seeing what comes out?
One of my jobs in the coming days is probably to do another batch of tomato onion masala, as a curry base: https://joshicooks.com/onion-tomato-masala-2/ There are others online, utilising fewer ingredients, but this one, in my view, has good depth of flavour. It makes c24 portions, so in our 2 person household, a batch, frozen in aluminium takeaway containers, lasts a while, and the containers (10 for £1 in Poundstretcher) just go out when used.
You are an absolute star thank you!
I love curry but most of the IP recipes Ive found have been from American websites, where I dont think curry is so popular. Its all Jerk and bbq sauce.
This is just what Ive been looking for.
I’ve ‘Copied Me that’ so will cook up a batch in a couple of weeks ( I’m away after the weekend)
With all these various resources, CopyMeThat is your friend.
Are you going to test as usual in the morning? I have to also do a morning one too, if I want to keep my excellent bgs steady.I’ve just followed @ickihun ‘s advice and had a late night cheese snack to hopefully stop my middle of the night/morning liver dump. Off to bed on 6.6 which is good by my standards
@Goonergal I found a low corner cupboard that’s quite awkward to get to the back of - that’s their new inaccessible home.
It certainly is - and so have you been! So much good advice and so many useful tips. Great stuff thank you.
