I nearly bought some pk10 but I'm not eating chocolate sauce any more either. I'm trying to keep medium fat. Fat can bother new system but sugar definitely does so 90% chocolate is off my menu and has been for months.I need to take my own advice on this! Or ditch some of the chocolate stock altogether.
Trifle is one of two iconic P family celebration dishes - the other is rice crispy cake in the shape of a cat - which is definitely off my list. Mrs P is tasked with creating a worthy successor to her famous cricket tea monster trifles. Opposing teams would rave about those. The lemon drizzle cake will make a base and jelly is no problem. Homemade custard should be no problem. Mine will have plenty of cream. Just waiting for Mrs P to sort herself out - I think I make too many excuses for her but I have always been soft that way.I might try trifle with sugar-free jelly by using almond flour sponges. Cream but custard may be difficult. Maybe sugar-free custard thinly as a layer?
Anyone made a decent trifle?
Morning all. Please can anyone help me find any sausages that match or better Waitrose 1 in terms of carb value of 1.2 for 2 sausages. Nothing wrong with them at all, in fact I like them greatly. The trouble is I also like Waitrose greatly probably more than my wallet should have to cope with. If the recommendations involve Tesco thanks but no thanks.
Oh, and disciplinary went well so CCBs being made to my new specs - cocky has added cream and liquid sucralose plus triple zero stevia in the flaxsee/inulin mix and much more inulin and triple zero stevia in the caramel. Mrs P is ecstatic re the latest caramel - no ethryth just stevia, inulin and butter and lots of stirring. Basically double the inulin, and then some, and no eryth then just stir for all you are worth.

Yes, but better never than lateMrsP's probably getting around to it............
I’m no help I often use Waitrose just for the Waitrose 1 sausages! How about buying more and freezing them in small portions as I do so you don’t get exposed to Waitrose temptations too often! I haven’t found any I prefer at any other supermarkets and have tried a fair few!Morning all. Sainsburys have quite a few , particularly the ones that are Gluten Free and the ones GF and in the Taste the Difference range are particularly good. For example, the Sicilian pork sausages have only 1g carbs per 2 sausages. M&S 97% pork is another nice one.Morning all. Got to agree , trifle should be very doable. Issue for me is the jam. Totally agree with ianp - custard and plenty cream - not a problem. Low carb sponge - not a problem. I was brought up on my Mums trifles where the jam spread sponge was soaked in sweet sherry and the alcohol sodden trifle was even better second day! Never been a jelly person in trifle. The amount of sherry I put in trifle could be an issue though.Trifle is one of two iconic P family celebration dishes - the other is rice crispy cake in the shape of a cat - which is definitely off my list. I made this at Xmas, worked out at about 10g carbs each portionI nearly bought some pk10 but I'm not eating chocolate sauce any more either. I'm trying to keep medium fat. Fat can bother new system but sugar definitely does so 90% chocolate is off my menu and has been for months.
I will bake some cakes and scones with almond flour once kids are back to school.
