Thanks for the membrane tip I’ll have a look before cooking. What happens if you leave it on?
I love a curry, make one at least once per week. Coconut cream is a brilliant way of making cauli rice taste great! That all sounds absolutely delicious! I need to try curry spices again. I miss them! See how the ol’ guts react this time...
I love all those places walsingham, sheringham and Cley ! Husbands origins are from Norfolk ( from Fakenham) and we love visiting the areaEvening all. Hope none were blown away. windy but warm here. Very good day so far and should end well. Being an Ember day I decided to fast as that was the tradition and it had a real point IMHO. Icing on the non cake was a twenty first century pilgrimage to Walsingham. Mrs P wanted to go to coast so we then went on to Sheringham via a trendy village called Cley - love its smoke house.
Menu - Tea and coffee
I think the best of all is Salthouse where we have walked dogs early some Sundays. There is a guy who sells coffee from his van - proper barista stuff = brilliantI love all those places walsingham, sheringham and Cley ! Hmm, unfortunately not! They have about 2g of carbs per sweet. But I so wanted a couple with my cup of tea. I've found it easier to keep to things in the long run with a bit of a lapseEvening everyone.
Very blustery day here too. @maglil55 how was it with you? Lots of weather warnings for Scotland.
@shelley262 I’m glad you got some good holiday gear. Clothes shopping is so much more fun when you’re looking for smaller sizes isn’t it?
B: Halloumi, mushrooms, poached egg and asparagus.
L: One of the DD naan breads reheated and topped with avocado and scrambled egg. 30g almonds and 12 Callebaut choc buttons afterwards.
D: Should have been IP ribs but Mr C bought scallops and John Dory from the fishmarket so had that instead - sauteed in butter with roast broccoli. 1 glass dry white wine.
@Tori71 are the sugar free Werthers carb free? I used to like them, especially on long car journeys.

Good luck for your test tomorrow and pleased to read you enjoyed your trip xHello all,
@DJC3 -- This was my thinking too in trying a compressed eating window and OMAD -- so many seemed to be quite successful with it. Just goes to show that we are all different. About half a year ago, I bought some sugarless Werther's too. If I remember correctly, they contain isomalt, a sugar alcohol that can raise blood sugars for some. Might be worth trying, especially since they are quite small. So, having one or two probably wouldn't be too much of a problem.
@Goonergal -- I so empathize. Hope work gets better for you.
Returned last night from Antwerp. It was a good trip. Tbh, I think I enjoyed the road trip more (open convertible, sunny, 30 degrees) than the time in Antwerp. Most of the places I had planned visiting were closed. Seems like they are open on Sundays for tourists and close Tuesday instead. Still all in all a cool place to see.
Tuesday ...
Breakfast: Two double decaffeinated espressos with cream and erythritol. A DD keto roll with mayonnaise, cheese and beef salami.
Snack: A baby bell cheese, a baby cucumber, a few pecans caramelized with erythritol.
Dinner: Mussels in garlic, one and half glasses of red wine, stole two tiny fries from my hubby.
Late night snack: A wiener sausage, another baby bell cheese.
Wednesday...
Breakfast: Two double decaffeinated espressos with cream and erythritol. A wiener sausage, a babybell cheese, Greek yoghurt with low-carb muesli (ordered online, contains mainly sesame, coconut and linseed with erythritol).
Snack: A few caramelized almonds.
Dinner: Lamb's lettuce with homemade dressing (mustard, lime juice, erythritol, orange zest and olive oil), three scrambled eggs with gruyere cheese. One glass of wine.
Will have my yearly blood tests tomorrow morning. Wish me luck.
Seriously bad up here. Started with sunshine and blue sky but boy did that change. Had to pick up SIL and hubby from the airport and it was so wild I had to go through town as the bypass was too exposed. Interesting drive avoiding trees, branches and flying debris. While stuck in traffic I checked on their flight and it was on approach 30 mins early (obviously caught one heck of a tail wind). Fought my way to the airport and even with the disabled badge I couldn't get parked. Was going to go in the multi storey but that's a minimum charge of £20 even if you're only in 5 mins. Was desperately trying SIL mobile leaving messages, texting.....never thought to recheck the flight! Pilot had a go at landing, didn't fancy it , aborted and diverted to Manchester. So they were in Manchester waiting to refuel for the pilot to have another go. About 20 on the plane didn t fancy it and got off having been told it was up to them to get home. I informed SIL winds were slowly dropping so by the time pilot got back should be better. Meantime I paid £10 for The privilege of doing circuits around the airport! Did the bypass going back, couldn't see for the spray but at least I didn't have to hang onto the car. 3 hrs later they eventually got back to Edinburgh and felt kissing the ground would be an idea when they got off!Evening everyone.
