Aww bless you, it’s not nice when someone is stuffing their face especially when there is nothing you can choose.xxHi all back home in UK - day started with a very choppy crossing on ferry first thing! Also had to fast much of day as airport and plane food not low carb! Woman sat next to me on plane was a bit of a nightmare too she ate on a 2 hour 50 min flight two toasted sandwiches, a family bag of crisps, a twix plus a full sugar coke and an orange juice! I had a peppermint tea the only okay thing on menu list!
Breakfast cheese omelette and coffee
Lunch peppermint tea
Dinner chilli from freezer and one slice Lc garlic bread followed by two scoops of lc ice cream and square of 90% chocolate.
Heating on as home cold! Washing machine in full use!
Happy anniversary, enjoy the treehouse xBreakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries and cream washed down with a black coffee.
Lunch: roast chicken, one tiny roast potato with mixed veg and gravy followed by SF jelly, cream and LC chocolate granola.
Mid afternoon: raspberry phd bar and a black coffee.
Dinner at ILs: cold meats and cheese with saladfollowed by one Jaffa cake
Going away tomorrow for a couple of days to stay in a treehouse (!) to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I’m going to have to wing it on the food at local pubs etc... as we will be in the countryside away from the big chains! I will of course be taking ingredients and my favourite saucepan to make my coconut ‘porridge’ for breakfast
Sorry it is pearl I’m getting ahead and was tired last night after my long travels!I haven’t bought a themed present but I did think it was pearl for 30th?
I found the woman on the plane next to me interesting I suppose I didn’t used to notice but now it feels many people don’t stop eating and like you I used to eat without thinking! She was probably a very anxious passenger using food to calm her she was keen to get off the plane to the extent of rudeness in her rush hitting me with her bag that she couldn’t wait to get down - I was in the aisle seat! Oh well that’s yesterday can plan my food today!Hello all.
Happy wedding anniversary, @Rachox.
Good to read that you made it back allright, @shelley262. Sorry about the woman on the plane next to you. I almost fear that I might have been like that woman too before embarking on the low carb diet.
@mojo37 -- I often just have a salad or an avocado with steak. Other alternatives are celeriac mash, hummus, or maybe even DD keto rolls with garlic butter.
Breakfast: Two double decaffeinated espressos with cream and erythritol.
Lunch: A DD keto roll, half with goat cream cheese and smoked salmon, the other half with mayonnaise, cheddar and beef salami. A oxtail soup with coconut milk, red curry paste, bellpepper, mushrooms and pumpkin.
Snack: About 25g of 85% chocolate and another espressos with cream and erythritol
Dinner: Lamb loin with mushrooms, chives and onion in a sauce of double-cream and beef broth. Lamb's lettuce with a mustard-lime dressing with feta cheese. A glass of red wine.
Lets hope her hasty exit wasn't so she could go find even more food lolI found the woman on the plane next to me interesting I suppose I didn’t used to notice but now it feels many people don’t stop eating and like you I used to eat without thinking! Yes got rather fond of Greek yoghurt!Start and end of the day- releasing chickens and securing them - cool but still wearing shorts. Mrs P has put the heating on this evening but I don't think we need that yet. In between the chicken duties it was very sunny until about 15 hundred hrs. Farmers are cutting hedges and ditches so autumn is here. Huge cracks in ground where I walk the dogs and big ruts where heavy machinery has been.
Wakey Wakey: Tea
Breakfast : Tea
Lunch : Large salad - avocado and mackerel in olive oil; chia seeds and PSP for fibre; Sugar free coke
Mid Afternoon: Tea
Evening meal: Marrow brushed with marmite and stuffed with pork mince and vegetable stock; Small bowl LC trifle; Water
@shelley262 Do I detect a Greek influence to the menu - tzatziki and yogurt with the clafoutis?
The yogurt while in Greece is rather moreish. You'll be on the lamb as well (missed that influence first time) - enjoy.Yes got rather fond of Greek yoghurt!
They're horrid and far too salty anyway. I bought some for my partner and snaffled a few. Yuk!!Today in John Lewis, I spied these visions of loveliness.

Sadly, all flavour include wheat flour, so for the GF me, they're no good.
