What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Hello
B. Strawberries and cream

L. Camambert and walnuts

D. Smoked haddock and cauliflower cheese. Strawberries and cream.

Packet of Itsu wasabi flavoured seaweed. Still no pomegranate

Today's plan:

Cheese omelette and mushrooms

Church bring and share lunch - will be avoiding the high carb goodies (I hope!) - taking meat and salad, strawberries and cream so should be ok even if everything else is high carb.

Hake with edame bean stir fry - courtesy of the little yellow labels in Tesco at 7pm yesterday

Yesterday:

Brunch: Buffet style breakfast at Toby Carvery - sausages, bacon, eggs, one tomato, mushrooms
Snack: Half punnet of raspberries
Dinner: Mr C was cooking: chicken tikka and lamb tikka (kebab style) with an aubergine side curry and cauliflower rice

today:

Brunch: Yes, Toby Carvery buffet breakfast again :) sausages, mushrooms, bacon, eggs, one tomato, small amount of baked beans
Dinner: Friends over so roast lamb, roast parsnips, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, gravy, mint sauce
Pud: Low carb lemon cheesecake with raspberries
Lots of wine :)

Hello. Happy Easter.
B. Strawberries and cream

L. Macdonalds Big Mac with cheese but no buns. Mozarella dippers.

Very naughtily I couldn't resist eating some of my OH cadburys chocolate Easter egg. Only a small amount but I shouldn't have succumbed to temptation.

D. Crust less quiche.

Breakfast - crustless quiche

Lunch - tuna mayo with rocket and baby plum tomatoes; 10 raspberries with cream

Dinner - cold lamb, half an avocado, baby plum tomatoes with a drizzle of olive oil; sugar free jelly and cream

Happy Easter
B. My 1 egg omelette with mushroom , tomato, bacon and spinach.
L. Nothing as going to sister's
D. Parma ham, smoked salmon and prawns in a Marie rose sauce. Had 2 forkfuls of linguine as it was done with cream and gruyere.
Main was veal - vitalla tonnata which is a thin escalope done with tuna and also a rolled veal which is stuffed with egg and herbs and cooked with veg chopped very tiny. Loads of roasted veg.
No alcohol as I was driving.
So not too much damage.

Breakfast: 2 x boiled eggs with Lidl Protein Roll soldiers
Lunch: Possibly just a bit of cheese (I feel like Wallace and Gromit typing that) :)
Dinner: Hot roast chicken salad with grated cheese and pickled things... pickled red cabbage, pickled garlic, pickled cauliflower/veg mix
Supper: An avocado (they are only small)

B: 25g roasted and salted macadamia nuts plus 2 Babybel
(Trying this out to try to sort out breakfast and DP when down at parents - pleasantly surprised to see a rise of 1.2 an hour after, same at 1 1/2 hrs and a drop of 0.5 by 2 hrs)

Salad leaves plus 3 baby tomatoes plus smoked salmon and beef with mayo

Lidl meatballs plus cabbage and leeks in cream

Strawberries and cream

Possibly a few pumpkin seeds as a snack

Oh, where did you get the roasted and salted macadamia nuts from? They sound gorgeous.

B. Tassimo morning coffee with a dash of cream
L. 1/2 slice roast chicken, 1/2 cup iceberg lettuce and 1 majestic tomato. Dessert spoon of mayonaisse.
D. Roast chicken breast , celeriac chips and a salad of iceberg lettuce and tomato.

Off topic but Line of Duty ....they so have to get Roz and her brown nosing sidekick. Can't wait for next week!

Strangely hungry today.

Breakfast - 2 boiled eggs

Lunch - Nando's. 5 plain wings with salad

Mid-afternoon snack - remainder of my sugar free jelly with cream

Dinner - the cold meat and salad I had planned just wasn't going to cut it. Settled for 2 poached eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 Birds Eye burgers (1.5 carbs each) and a small piece of cheese.

Still feeling a bit peckish which isn't right - have eaten more than normal.

B: Everything I could find that cooks in a frying pan!!!!
L: Leftover chilli-con-carne
S: Another bag of peanuts and a beer
D: Fish Pie, celeriac top and a chocolate brownie, them full sugar types.....
Still 3 hours before bed time :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

Hello
B. Strawberries and yoghurt

L. 4 egg yolks on an almond flour roll.

D. Leftover crust less quiche. Strawberries and yoghurt.

I still haven't got pomegranate so had a few salt n pepper cashews.

Breakfast: Two mackerel fillets fried in butter

Lunch: Probably a couple of Lidl salami sticks - the very small snack size ones

Dinner: an unlabelled Tupperware container from the freezer - I'm hoping it's something like chicken and aubergine curry - whatever it is I'll be having it with cauliflower rice

Mr C reckons there's enough home made pre-cooked meals in the smallest chest freezer to last us six months minimum. I just wish they all had labels on. :meh:

Hello

L. Walnuts

Swimming for 1 hour 10 minutes

Snack strawberries and yoghurt which I should have had for breakfast

B. 1 egg omelette with mushroom, tomato, bacon and spinach.
L. 2 walnuts
D. Roast chicken , celeriac chips and salad of iceberg lettuce, majestic tomato, 1/2 avocado , 2 red Leicester minis and Helmanns.
