What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

OK went off to bed on 5.6 FBG 6.9 and pre breakfast was 6.6. Swimming with the grandson who was as proud as punch because he got his Level 4 Swimming Certificate today.
B. Boiled egg and Tassimo morning coffee with cream
L. Slice of roast pork and another boiled egg. Cathedral City mini, 3 walnuts and tbsp of a cheese savoury I mixed up with grated red Leicester, Cornish cove, spring onion and Helmanns. Tassimo morning coffee with cream.
D. Oomi noodle carbonara.
Going to have a WhayHay protein ice cream too. Chocolate - new entry to Tesco freezers and in nice individual pots. Got the chocolate and the vanilla. Will let you know what they are like.
OK just had the wheyhay chocolate ice cream and it is wheyhay! It tastes like ice cream. Calories 85 carbs 8.5 fibre 0.7 sugars 0.4 protein 8 fat 3.5.
So not an everyday thing for a 20g low carber but lovely on a hot day where everything else has been low carb.

Very hot today
Breakfast: 1 fried egg followed by a strawberry smoothie ( coconut cream, strawberries vanilla ) an hour later
Lunch, was out so picked u7p those cooked plain chicken drummers and a couple brazilz
Dinner, using up fridge bits so 3 x polish sausages with med veb baked with feta and oil

Found those oomi noodles in Tesco so will make a stirfry this week....

Another red hot day here :)

Breakfast: (in the garden) Two boiled eggs and buttered Lidl protein roll soldiers, black coffee

Lunch: (in the garden) trio of olives and mozzarella pearls

Dinner: (in the garden) - loads of M&S BBQ products including steak things, chicken things and fishy things - plus some flavoured chicken skewers from the local butcher (I think they have indian spices this time) and some home grown salad including the first from my sprouted seeds from the kitchen window sill (which were REALLY easy to grow and are supposed to be ultra healthy).

And it's Sunday again. A little overcast at the moment but it is getting hot again. Very humid. Same trend as yesterday - bed 5.6 FBG 6.4 and pre breakfast was 6.3. It had risen to 7.1 while I was faffing about then turned and was at 6.3 pre breakfast.
B/L One M&S 97% pork chipolato, 2 mini plum tomatoes, 2 chestnut mushrooms, 2 rashers of crispy bacon and a fried egg. Tassimo morning coffee and a dash of cream.
D. Usual campari and soda and a wee prosecco.
Starter for today is kedgeree although mine will be made with cauliflower rice. Main I got a request for beef stroganoff with chips (Rick Stein's recipe with loads of paprika, sour cream and lemon). It's fine for me and Hubby thankfully cooks the straw chips. He's also done straw celeriac chips for me so I'm going to try deep frying them and see what happens.
I have strawberries, raspberries and blueberries so may have some with one of the vanilla wheyhay ice creams. Going to feed it to the carb eaters too and see if they notice. I was going to make the Diet Doctor chocolate cake thingy to go with it but not sure I can take the heat. We'll see.

Bed was 5.1

Nah....going to make the Diet Doctor low carb chocolate thingy. Won't take long and it will go well with the berries. Will probably pass on the ice cream though.

B: fry up in nice cafe at end of road. Full English minus sausages and toast (gluten). did eat the hash brown, beans and tomato
L: not necessary!
D: Dietdoctor chicken with courgette in creamycheese sauce. Delish.

Today will probably be the Dietdoctor chicken in orange and ginger, with salad and some konjac rice. or maybe those new fish noodles...? And berries. The berries need finishing. Oh the ordeal ;)

Hello
B. Raspberries and cream

L. Camambert with walnuts

D. Roast pork, carrots onions and gravy. Strawberries and cream.

B- none
L- raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries with cream.
D-burger, small baked potato with cheese, sour cream and bacon bits, coleslaw and a small piece of cheesecake.
Starting a 7 day fast now

Heat is playing havoc with my blood sugar levels - running about 1 - 1.5 mmols higher than normal (tried and tested meals so confident it's not the food). Walking football and a long stroll in Greenwich Park and along the river took me to 28,000 steps today. Feet are feeling it now.

Breakfast - none

Lunch - broke my 24 hour fast with tuna mayo, rocket and baby plum tomatoes followed by 10 raspberries and cream

Dinner - salami and cheese; 2 squares Lindt 90%

I think I'm going to explode!!! BBQ last night and again tonight -plus prawns at lunch time - carnivore's paradise. After three lots of BBQ'd protein we both gave up as soooooo full. I BBQ'd the rest of the chicken which will be shared out between us for dinners over the next few days. I've eaten very low carb both days but I'm completely certain I am well over the top with protein.

@maglil55 I saw your latest icecream in Tesco today when we went to cool down around their chillers and freezers. Sadly that Tesco is about 20 minutes from home so I couldn't buy any as it would have melted as soon as we put it in the car. One of these days I will get to try a low carb ice cream. :(

B: 1 pepperami and some scrambled eggs
L: Some roast ham
D: BBQ prawns in chilli and garlic with side of roasted green pepper, mushroom and onion in a soy and ginger sauce. Followed by some berrys, heavy cream, vanilla seeds and cinnamon. yum! BG 5.4 2 hours later.

I have a cool bag that I can plug in in the car which keeps my frozen stuff frozen in this heat but I'm only 10 mins from Tesco. The Alpro Ice Cream is good too.

OK the Diet Doctor Chocolate Cake thingy is like eating Lindt 90% as cake. Really like the bitter non sweet taste and really easy to make. I did have a tiny bit of the Alpro Ice Cream with it.
Kedgeree made with cauliflower rice worked fine - tasted just like kedgeree. Lastly deep fried celeriac chips look like normal chips. Lacking the taste of the garlic coated oven version but nice and crisp and some ground salt sorted them. Next time I'll be trying what Jason Atherton does to them before deep frying - soak in a mix of soy and mirin for 20 mins. And despite all that food and drink I only went from 5.8 to 6.1.

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs and buttered Lidl protein roll soldiers

Lunch: Probably nothing but maybe a few nuts

Dinner: Leftover yesterday's BBQ chicken skewers, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls (those really nice little ones from Lidl), a few olives

(Mr C is returning to work after his holiday today so I'm working on emptying the fridge of all the extra food)
