Oh wow that is so great you must be really thrilled and in quite a short time I think? At least you’ll be able to prepare now for when you see your DN about how you move forward. A congratulatory hug and puppy lick now on the way!
Thank you @shelley262 I am very happy with the result.Oh wow that is so great you must be really thrilled and in quite a short time I think? At least you’ll be able to prepare now for when you see your DN about how you move forward. A congratulatory hug and puppy lick now on the way!
I know that’s why it’s so great to be in the normal range but still have lived your life had an illness which puts it up but more importantly done something enjoyable like go on holiday go girl you’re definitely doing it right you and @DJC3 Are almost bg twins.Thank you @shelley262 I am very happy with the result.
It was what I was hoping for, to be in the "normal" BG range, didn't think it would happen as I had my holiday and that nasty cold/chest virus, which, saw my averages a little bit higher on quite a few days during the last 5 weeks prior to my blood test.
As you say, all things considered the result is a great achievement, especially when I consider my starting point, like you I was in the 90's club.I know that’s why it’s so great to be in the normal range but still have lived your life had an illness which puts it up but more importantly done something enjoyable like go on holiday go girl you’re definitely doing it right you and @DJC3 Are almost bg twins.

Especially brilliant considering the holiday and illness.
It gives you the motivation to continue doesn’t it? Seeing what a change we can actually make.

Today both myself and my wife seem to have a mild but annoying tummy bug so I have maintained my food fast all day as a precaution. Bg seems to find it agreeable but no big dips. Just to keep in the routine menu below:
B: 3 pints tea with almond milk
MMS: French Vanilla coffee with double cream
L: 2 pints tea with almond milk
MAS: French Vanilla coffee with double cream ; 2 pints water with lime
D: Bone broth with cider vinegar; 2 pints water with lime
Just trying to take plenty of fluid and laze about watching cricket. Hope you all had better days.
@shelley262 a real Don't tell him Pike moment maybe?I suppose it’s partly seeing my real name rather than my forum
I am Rachel, I just needed to be in a good place mentally before I looked, I wasn’t confident that I would get the numbers I was hoping for considering being poorly and being on holiday. I should have had more courage.Brilliant news! Very well done, bet you’re glad you looked now!![]()
Some very appealing menus on here tonight although I have never tried the Adonis or Halo Top.D. Probably shouldn't but I have spiced ribs cooking. I'll restrict myself to a spoonful of coleslaw with it.
Note to self - stay away from Halo Top.![]()
