What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yesterday I ate:
Brunch at 11am was two Gloucester Old Spot sausages fried with two eggs.
Lots of tea and water.
Supper was spatchcock chicken with roasted aubergine, red onion and tomato.
Lo cal Mango and Passionfruit jelly.
2 gin and slimline, one glass wine.

Evening all.

Was planning OMAD but got very hungry around lunchtime so ate some M&S Serrano ham and manchego cheese rollitos. Dinner was a large ribeye steak with garlic butter plus one fried egg and 2 rashers streaky bacon.

Said dinner was rudely interrupted by the emergence of a ginormous spider from under the TV stand. Attempts to catch it with one of those long spider catcher things have just driven it under the bed. So long as it stays under all is well, but a very large, heavy, hardback book is now on standby!

Breakfast: 45g of homemade granola and hi lo toast and butter
Lunch:Cucumber, pate, one peters yard sourdough cracker, two rollitos, two stuffed peppers, two cherry tomatoes and chilli olives. Three strawberries, spoon of chocolate granola, cream and mocha chia pudding
Dinner: Two slices of thin packet ham, two poached eggs, two butternut squash and spinach croquettes, mushrooms. Mini bar of Mosser Roth 70% chocolate

Think I might start to state quantities of what I eat, as looking back at my posts it seems I eat a lot when it only usually fits on a tea plate!!!!!

Hope your Monday went well!

Hope you manage to find the spider he clearly moved in when you were away!

Yikes is right! Under the bed is The Worst Place to me. I use a big, heavyweight plastic cup such as comes with soda in it at a sports event, with a stiff piece of cardboard. You have to be stealthy but it works very well on wasps and thumb-sized hornets!
Yesterday nothing interesting. Three meals. Made chicken noodle soup for hubby-with-a-chest-cold. He liked it. I was intending to make “cream of green stuff soup” for myself but ran out of time. Have 3 quarts of stock chilling that will go outside to freeze tonight, heavily protected against raccoons!
Today same as yesterday: whatever is quick and easy (if boring).

Hi all hope everyone had a good Monday
Breakfast one boiled egg with about a third of a Lidl roll sliced and buttered
Lunch very small nibbles of different cheeses with bit of celery and two lc herby crackers
Dinner two lamb chops served with cauliflower cheese and a few mushrooms
May have small bit of choc with coffee later.
Have a good evening all.

Good evening all - hope y'all enjoyed today.
Up to 15.00 Tea - 1 mug with inulin and 2 without: Afternoon; CCB - was flagging by 15.00; maybe the fibre in the flaxseed has benefits - who knows any longer? Powered me for an hour walk with dogs then had Lidl cocoa made with Lidl soya drink. Thanks for telling me where to look for the cocoa @shelley262
Evening meal: Will be Chicken thigh; reheated swede and celeriac mash and roast kale with parmesan; mayo; Will Like it but who knows if it is good for me or fits any of the acceptable WOE tribes?. Colour me lost on an ocean of pseudo scientific mumbo jumbo about food. Highlight of the day was the cheap UV stabilised tee shirts in Mountain Warehouse - bit like @DJC3's jumpers for me - but use those as base layers, tee shirts and jimjam tops. @Goonergal -pick it up and put it out the window or just stamp on it:angelic:

I suspect there was some fermentation going on with the bubbles. I'm assuming you took the soup to the pre blend stage and hadn't added the cream? Although it was common in the restaurants to keep the stock pots going I must admit once the base soup had cooled I'd get it away into a fridge. I don't mind keeping it in a cool kitchen for a few hours if it's going to be eaten later that day. Anything else it's packed and into the fridge.
Back to your bubbles though. My grandmother used to do fermented veggies - mainly cauliflower hence my thought that your soup pot had started a fermentation process. I would have been inclined to smell first then taste a tiny amount to see if it was off.
Glad the curry was a success. I think that Tom Kerridge recipe is one of the best.
Thanks so much @maglil55 for your response. It didnt smell bad but maybe your grandmother was on to something. You are right I didnt plan to add double cream until it was ready to serve. I guess it was pushing it leaving it out of fridge at this time of year even if its cold but I am now a bit wary of the cauliflower fight back lol. Will still eat it though.

Evening all. As far as Mondays go today’s a rather fabulous one. More new clothes bought and yet another size smaller - actually almost cried in the changing rooms! And an Easter weekend holiday booked.
Breakfast - the usual protein peanut & chocolate bar with a cup of tea
Just two large coffees throughout the day at work
Dinner - I’d put a gammon joint in the slow cooker with Diet Coke this morning so came home to super tender, melt in the mouth gammon, which I had a huge portion of with broccoli and green beans followed by 2 squares of green & blacks mint chocolate. Feeling the need to end the day with a mug of tea so that will follow shortly

Evening all! I'm completely pooped after a long day at work and late night last night. Just got back from our usual post-dinner walk and looking forward to a lovely cup of decaf tea. Today's menu was:

Breakfast: Lemon & Lime Chia pudding. Fresh coffee with cream

Lunch: Sliced Turkey, sliced beef, babybel, avocado, cucumber, cherry toms, spinach. Mr B also had a LC mocha muffin with an almond milk cappuccino. Black coffee for me.

Dinner: DD broccoli and leek soup (tweaked with added celery, marigold veg stock and cayenne). Served with the cheesey skillet bread, which was a resounding success. Followed by lemon posset leftover from yesterday, which was delicious.

It's a shame I couldn't come and rescue your spider @Goonergal. I can't bring myself to kill them, but wasps are a different matter entirely!

Yay! It's a great feeling isn't it! Well done! How many sizes have you dropped? Your avatar is amazing and really shows how far you've come.

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries and cream washed down with a black coffee.
Lunch: Chinese style cold pork with pistachios, cauliflower and broccoli salad followed by Greek yoghurt and blueberries.
Mid afternoon: orange chia pudding and black coffee.
Dinner: liver and bacon with mixed veggies followed by Carb Killa brownie, cream and LC chocolate granola and a few raspberries.

Edit for typo
