Rest of day was drinking green clove tea as recommended by the new book supergut by dr w Davis which arrived today. I normally associate cloves with Christmas bread sauce and/or cough sweets - all in my past of course!- but really enjoyed the tea so will carry on. By the way
@Rachox I was reading in my new book about different gut bacteria you can introduce and thought of you when read about lactobacillus Gasseri which, according to Dr Davis, can reduce urinary levels of oxalate so can help reduce likelihood of kidney stones - so thought of you!
I’ve also got inspired to start making my own yoghurt with certain strains of friendly live bacteria that I feel will be helpful to me based on the new supergut book. I do like my Fage yoghurt but fancy a go at doing my own.will probably be later next week before I get all stuff I need - but watch this space! I’ve also found a recipe for fermented roast peppers so that’s on my list for later in the week!
