Congratulations on 34 years together.Back to normal today, for a few days before going away again.
Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and a food dr bar.
Dinner: Chinese take away: crispy duck, 3 small pancakes, a smidge of sauce and veggies followed by DGF raspberry Bakewell and cream.
Takeaway to celebrate our 34th(!) wedding anniversary!
Then homemade ice cream. Just mix cream, unsweetened cocoa
A bit of chosen sweetener. Few crushed nuts. + some peanut butter. Lovely.
This morning's breakfast!
My aunt made sure to send me off thoroughly fed, considering I never eat breakfast.
Currently on the ferry, which is about to depart. Had a look around, foodwise, very glad I was just in time to go back to my car to get a bag of peanuts to sustain me until I'm on the other side!

Lakanto Classic and the Lakanto Golden. They look like sugar. Classic is white, Golden is brown.@maglil55
Could you kindly remind me of the monkfruit and Lakanto sweetners you use please, with a picture of products if possible?
Am currently in the States and trying to see what's good to load up on and bring back
A darn (sometimes spelled darne) is a thick piece of fish, presented as a steak. It is usually cut across a round fish and includes the spine but sometimes it can be a thick piece of fillet served as one large piece or steak.
.
I bought a batch not so long ago too. I can be addicted to their vegan fudge brownie. I still have a few cookies in the freezer!7am - 2 eggs mashed up in a cup with melted butter. Mug of earl grey tea to get me going for the day ...
elevensies - 1 small white chocolate phd bar & another mug of earl grey
Dinner - Tuna bake made with eggs, cheese & onion instead of pasta. A variation on @Rachox tuna truffles. I really enjoyed it for a change and will make it again and possibly do breakfast truffles: cheese, eggs, bacon, mushroom & onions. Afters was sf jelly & double cream. Oh no! the double cream again! - I went to Morrisons today as I really like their extra thick double cream (which they didn't have!) so I just got normal double cream for my dgf which was supposed to be arriving today (I haven't ordered from them for ages as I feel they are getting too pricey)- however order didn't arrive today as planned as stuck in Peterborough! @maglil55
And do you use 1:1 instead of sugar like it says?Lakanto Classic and the Lakanto Golden. They look like sugar. Classic is white, Golden is brown.
Their products are starting to appear in the UK again but I still get mine from the US or Australia as I have relatives in both places. The US prices are good. You should get it in Health Foid stores.

I think it is a proper term and not confined to Scotland. I haven't checked that in a dictionary though.Ive never heard this expression either, this thread is so educational!
Is it a colloquial term or is my Cornish fishmonger likely to know it? ( I will soon tell by his flummoxed expression if he doesn’t)
Easily if you dislike all nut butters! I consider myself lucky that I doHow is that possible?!
