What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Morning all from what promises to be a thundery day in both East and West East Anglia. Quiet news day yesterday which is what one expects from a strong and stable regime. @jjraak wonderful voices in the sea shanty but I'm sure they are tofu eaters or even worse tempeh munchers - them’s ultra woke. @dunelm thanks for the latest art which I'm certain will provide grofth, grofth, grofth of pleasure. If not just sack it. Line dancing you say? You seem like just the chap. @Patsy B hopefully on the road to recovery and dog walking. JKP has secured a face to face Drs appointment. For a small fee I'll tell y'all how. Now, do I manhandle her through the correct door since that is very trendy in some parts?. Scan day for me today so no zips or buttons in case I blow up the expensive machine or incinerate myself. Truss keeps finding her way into everything. Do be good to yourselves today but not at the expense of anyone else or your own elf n safety (gorn mad)

Hope the scan goes well @ianpspurs

Good morning everyone and the end of week 2 of the back pain course here in the dark and dangerous north. Todays topics include swimming exercises, stress, pain medication, and where would be if it did not include an introduction to line dancing - ye ha! Art bit, another beginning outline. Have a marvellous day if you can, my Koffy is already on the go.

Something different in your sketch this morning @dunelm

Enjoy your last day of the torture chamber...

Fbg 6.8

All the animals - Jade, Midnight, Ghost Cat, Ammy (all cats), and then the badgers, the foxes, and even Ratty look up to the top of this bush several times a night. It is nearly 3 metres tall, so, what are they all looking at?

I haven't a clue...

Creative today...something different...
A digital painting of Autumn.
With the outdoors wildlife at night, I was unable to paint or do pastel paintings in the garden this summer. I would leave all my painting stuff out for days on end on a dry spell of weather. But can you imagine what Foxy Loxy and Kissy Kissy would do with painting materials...

I have re done the bird feeders. Reduced them. There were far too many sparrows. Got two brand new ones up. About 3/4 is the sparrow population left. Suited me. It was too expensive. And, they were too darned noisy all day long.

So, now I have a core of about 20 regular sparrows, more females that males, so monogamy might be an issue this year. One robin, one dunnock (it has been here the last couple of months, as has this same robin), and the same MrsBluetit accompanied by a female sparrow (who I am assuming is Little Miss, I cannot tell her from the other sparrows now she has grown up). Mr GreatTit still attends the bird feeder. Blackbirds sweep in occasionally, as does Mr Heffalump (wood pigeon), and Mr Magpie.

I do also get flocks of small birds visiting every morning and evening (without fail), who avail themselves of the insects on the tall willow branches - marshtits and others of that titfamily, and wagtails.

Have a good day.

Oh no, shopping delivered and stowed away so no Ping. That sea shanty is lifted straight from this. They look very, very woke. Lyrics
Glad to say - in my younger days (I was still young in the 60's and 70's) there was no such thing as "woke". And, in those days, not only performers wore those kind of clothes - quite a few did (I used to love the long, flowing sleeves and soft, draping fabrics). The Seekers were typical of their era in their songs and their style. Certainly though, they look a bit odd to us now.

Thank you for the good wishes for the scan. That went well but the crunch point is the analysis. Thanks also to
@jjraak @Krystyna23040 and anyone else I've missed. Good news on reducing costs of feeding sparrows. Thanks for the creative which is quite a departure from your norm but wonderfully evocative of the season. Autumn can divide people as this - admittedly US slanted - shows. To clarify, your creative is splendid..

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen and all who didn’t tiptoe through the tulips more like stomped through the tulips too the sounds of groups liked Slade.
.
Blood sugars this morning were 4.8 drat etc, etc, etc.
.
This morning I was dragged kicking and screaming into Tesco’s to do the weekly shop at 7:30 am, worse still I wasn’t banished to the koffy shop. Mrs J was up and about early with the bit between her fangs, I would like to say my day was ruined, but that is not so, lunch with and much hilarity with friends and staff at the little café and stares from some of the other customers. Yes chaos and mayhem abound and now it time for an afternoon nap.
.
Stay safe all whatever your political viewpoint.
Stop press the media are going to have the time of their lives for the next week or so, I shall avoid their speculation.
Edit
Hope the results are good @ianpspurs, fingers and legs crossed for you, well the fingers are, legs are crossed due to bladder pressure.

Of course I feel sorry for Truss on a personal level but we are talking about the big picture. We should have guest PMs like HIGNFY - actually we almost have this year. @alf_Josiah yes, results are key and as you know one should drink plenty for some days after these scans so I'm drinking 750 ml mugs of tea. Hug for the low fbg and Tesco trip - the latter not so much for you as for the staff, other customers and the wonderful Mrs A J.

Thanks for the compliment.

The 'divide', it says the site cannot be reached :(
