Picked up daughter from Oz at station yesterday. Went for a meal. Son came up from London. Some a threesome.

I was good with what I chose, yet I am 8.6 this morning. So maybe some hidden sugars in the meal. Only drank black coffee all day. Also I ate much later than I normally do, mid afternoon.

It was a good day. Going out for breakfast in a minute as soon as she has showered.

So have a good day.

How lovely to have your family with you. I get higher readings also if I eat later - even if I eat exactly the same amount of carbs as I usually do.

5.6 this morning which is good considering I was awake for 20 hours yesterday and misbehavin'

Today is one of my favourites, geek cafe. It should be 'aspie cafe day' but as we now just discuss gaming and rigs it's more geeky. We don't meet in person very often but as we live very close to each other it's nice to lose the 'antisocial' tag for a while before going back to Discord and Teamspeak

Morning...eye screening this morning good & early so that will be out of the way...got myself busy yesterday painting the window ledges & front door...I must say they both look better than I expected fine in fact...another coat on the front door & the brass knocker...then a good tidy up as friends coming for supper...woke to a 6.6 got on the chocolate chip cookies bought for my friends children yesterday...think I'll put them on a plate so they won't notice I've opened the packet.

Great start to what sounds like it will be a very useful and enjoyable day geekie, aspie or whatever. Surely, just a group of people meeting, eating and drinking while helping each other deal with problems the rest of us can't understand like you guys can? Morning All. 6.3 today but woke late after a very long sleep. All day yesterday all I could think about was eating cake which never happens but I had a real slump. Thank goodness there was none in the house? Chocolate there was but didnt fancy it!

Thanks for the 'get out' PMb ut it was nothing to do with the eye clinic...I'm just weak willed at times (not often) and I wanted them because they were in the cupboard!...once my little visitors have left the cookies will no longer be in the building.

going to hopefully have a quietish day today so mr. gee can try to settle down his 'lurgie' which is keeping him from sleeping much

We had a good day yesterday, managed a walk in the sun around Dornoch, very nice lunch out, did our shopping and visited mum.
I got a walk in with her little dog in the late afternoon but by then it had started to get wildly windy, didn't seem to bother her but Suzie's ears were flapping about in the breeze like mad

I may do a bit of bakeing today, and some wardrobe shuffling ready for the colder autumnal weather

Some very healthy debates surrounding my appearance on This Morning going on in Twitter! It transpires that Dr Zoe Williams has been paid by coca cola in the past! Possibly one of the reasons she kept bringing the conversation back to low cal and not backing me that low carb can be so beneficial. For me low cal only short term. Low carb is a woe for life.

Got my clinic today at 12.30 so just preparing.

For ' Mountain Bike' read 'Horse' and the question is answered.

And the bike doesn't have to be groomed or tacked up or have its wheels picked.

@SaskiaKC you have hit the nail on the head, grooming, the very reason I stopped riding. If I had a groom I might still ride.
Mind you a muddy mountain bike takes me a good hour to clean properly and I always do.
