All very pleasant looking, Ian. enjoyFor those wondering about what to have for breakfast today try picking from this lot. The omelette chef is still here - amazing guy speaks and sings in at least 5 different languages.

Have a wonderful holiday. Enjoy the gorgeous sunshine. Bring some back with you please.Morning all. 2nd Sunday before advent and I'm laying on a sunbed beside a pool in Pathos/Pafos. 5.3 fbg today trying to work out the time earlier was a nightmare - fitbit still on uk time, room blacked out and phone elsewhere. I didn't want to wake Julie. As if by magic my body woke me at about 5.00 am here. Found the nightlight button by my bed, located bathroom, tested, dressed and headed off for some tea - asked at reception for almond milk in our room - forgot to email that. Odd experience with Christmas tree, full decs all over, me and other folks roaming around in shorts and pool slides. Enjoy your day. For Bake Off fans sat in front of Paul Hollywood on the flight out - had to google him but Julie was aware of him.
Brilliant!!!
We don't watch TV in real time so we always fast forward through any ads. However maybe that subliminal message still gets through but in a different time zone, who knows? Ah I bet @OldButBold does if he's not been driven totally mad by the Urban Space Man in his head.
I agree, so many precious hours of life lost to a square box. I like Philip Pullmans take on it in his interview regarding his Dark Matter Trilogy, if you have only lived your life through the TV there will be no escape from the clutches of the dark reaper, you need interesting stories to tell. Sadly our TV still lurks behind the sofa which we have to push out of the way if we want to watch it and as it's a very heavy sofa and not on casters it ain't that often. Not me, I don't own a tv, evil thingsIf I'm interested in a program I can usually find it on the net
I had better consult Little Miss Pamplemousse, one of my granddaughters, about this - she will be up from Birmingham next weekend. I expect that she will have ideas about who the main characters would be.
A quiet day for me today Mr PM off to Germany later so Strictly, sofa, cats and PJs part of my plan.
Enjoy your Sundays all. Stay/get well, stay safe.
I know I am a bit old and a bit grumpy but I would have more respect for these companies that spend so much on Christmas ads if they gave it to homeless charities or animal shelters or food banks. For the children you could make a simple little short ad to promote your latest toy/idea and it would do the trick. Am I missing something here?Spotted this this afternoon...warning...you may need a tissue or two for the second video it's a reminder of what is really important
Last year people said his budget advert was better than John Lewis' and this year is no different. The true meaning of Christmas

You would have to read the whole storey...he made this about his mother who before she died left him Christmas messages which he used to play on Christmas morning...it cost him jut £50 to make this & remind us what is really important...its the comparison of how little it can cost to get your message across.Am I missing something here?
ps. you're not old & grumpyI know I am a bit old and a bit grump
Oh my goodness. Love it. And I as I remember the one he made last year the tears start to flow. I think of my own dear mum who used to move in with us for Christmas and new year (I lost my dad at 21 and she was always with us ever since). This brought some very special memories back and I thank you for sharing this. Great to let emotions out dont you think. Better out than in my mum used to say.I'm also watching Michelle visage on strictly letting her emotions out too. Everyone is at it!!Spotted this this afternoon...warning...you may need a tissue or two for the second video it's a reminder of what is really important

Yes I was warm - actually I was a little too warm. It is another big coat day today as we are off to Felbrigg Hall and it is bound to be so cold. Haven't been there for ages as it is one National Trust place we seem to have forgotten we like walking around.
