What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Now have to try and record myself playing some tricky Bass Recorder music as the other three in the Quartet have done there bits and await my effort. It's a hard piece and fingers get into a panic over some of the sections where lots of black dots on sticks are crammed into a bar. Driving me crazy.

Love it. By now it is clear to me I like watercolour landscapes. If you could all include a cricket pitch and church in all your work I'd be much obliged.:angelic:

Wet - yes, the word to describe yesterday. It all looked fine when we set out from home but halfway down the promenade we were attacked by heavy moisture - which proved one thing, our waterproof coats still work.
First jab today - we have to go to York - should we take a picnic?
In other news, Eastenders has asked Mrs Queen if her family is copying one of their intriguing story lines while the casting directors of the new Jim Carrey film “Liar Liar” has asked the Mayor of Scotland if she would like a roll. I don’t watch Eastenders bye the way, I have enough problems being bored with the morning news show on the beeb - all that giggling, butting in and sometimes - sometimes - (can we mention bias?).

Art today, a hungry bird and the prospect of lunch. Big hug to @gennepher for poorly finger but a stout hoorah! for Popeye and first aid box foresight. Hope that everyone has a wonderful Friday - no illegal raves please. Koffy time.

When ever you are passing give me a shout.

These are the bridleways not the bike routes, I visit this spot quite often it's known as the firewatch as the views are good for 3690 degrees. My kids get all "Oh dad!" when we pass here on bikes or walks as I always take the oportunity to remind them it's where I want my ashes scattered on a windy day. :)

I have stopped riding the single track technical trails during Covid as it seems irresponsible to possibly add a casualty to an overworked NHS.

Below link is what I really enjoy riding and use the Full Suspension bike for....

I am luck to have this on my doorstep and can ride to the trail head in about 10 minutes from home. Been doing it for 25 years and although no longer work on my bike I am a qualified British Cycling and Scottish Mountain Bike leader and course runner assessing and training potential leaders, mostly education staff and MOD personnel. I did this weekends as I had a computer software business that kept me busy during the week.

We had to a take mum out to pick up her pension today but the street was very quiet :)

did think about doing a bit of gardening but the wind was very cold so it will have to wait for another day ;)

@dunelm - Another strong bird painting today and I especially like that foliage and the gentle water :)

@jjraak - your good progress continues :)

@Muddy Cyclist - A well balanced picture, the trees are strong and lead the eye in nicely and the foreground is impressive as always :joyful:

Confirmed I'm off to the Far East week on Sunday. Been there many times, but pretty apprehensive for the upcoming visit even though it'll be socially distanced and as safe as can be. Haven't been near an airport since last March either...

On the way there, hitching a lift with just me as a passenger at the moment on a Gulfstream, coming back on a commercial carrier with a few others to keep me company I imagine!

Dinner of coq au vin, greens and cheese with celery. Date night is Mrs BRS, me and the menagerie snuggling down to watch Quartet - great film! I'll stab my finger in 2 hours for judgement ;)

Thank you, I will probably do some more work on the foreground once dry.

That's a cold picture from you today, a well captured chilly atmosphere, wonderful.
 
Good Morning and 4.7 for me today. Baked Sea Bass in garlic,white wine, Italian herbs and parsley last night must have had something to do with it.

Dull here, mOuntain Bike Ride with SIL first thing then a Motet 'Princess Gloriosissime by Palestrina arranged for four Recorders to record. Other than that I have no idea what else the day will bring.

Keep safe watch Spring flourishing.
