Wanders into thread, drops dead animal on table and leaves looking angelic I'll park it there I'm in a hurry. This Kombucha won't knit itself y'know.

Brilliant!!!You don't need encouragement but these are guaranteed 100% effective against marauding badgers and neighbour's sleep. Can't swear to the local council's attitude.![]()
If you have ever used a credit card on Ebay or address, they will have your full digital footprint.Brilliant!!!
Maybe a tad better than the WW2 air raid rattle type sirens I was considering, and one heck of a lot cheaper...
You are right...I don't need encouragement...

EDIT: How the heck does eBay know my make of car, model number, and year of manufacture?
I have never told eBay this.
I have never discussed my car on eBay or the internet.
So, eBay only goes says "Your vehicle..." states my exact car make, model number, and year of manufacture. And makes suggestions.
I have never keyed in my car details into any search engine...
I hope she took the toothpaste, brush and a glass of water as well? Thanks, I will certainly give this a try. I had an Aunt who lived to 105 and her take on her longevity was she always took a flask of tea and a cheese Sandwich to bed for midnight snack, maybe she was right.![]()
@gennepher - this bought back a memory from when our children were young. A relative bought them a football rattle one Christmas. It was really strange - it mysteriously 'disappeared '. The culprit(s) were never found.I am researching and found some interesting rattle devices on eBay @Krystyna23040
Glad you got the speedo sorted - usually when I try and remove something the whole bike ends up in bits - perhaps that’s why I don’t go for bikes with fairings any moreMorning
6.4
And an achey awakening, due to yesterday's work out.
I've allowed legs to limit exercise of other parts, it seems...good talking to, to be administered.
A successful day yesterday.
Bought scooter late last year, Speedo not working ( yes, naughty, but it's a scooter, and little used, lockdown, on crutches etc.)
Intention was to fit new Speedo cable,
But legs made that impossible for me to do at the time.
Felt more able of late, so got on with it yesterday.
just a nagging doubt.
Chap selling bike seemed awfully trustworthy & honest, and kept telling me how well it was looked after, his friend was a tame mechanic etc.
So thought kept going through my head
"Why didn't THEY just fix it...mmhh"
Guessed they tried and it wasn't the cable
So prepared for it to be, Speedo unit itself, speedo at clock end, etc.more pricey and time consuming.
Poor access, but got old one out,
Checked it over....RUSTED solid....
I mean SOLID
Never seen that before, but happy days.
Replaced cable, Speedo working. Job jobbed.
Just had Breakfast with Lauren.
Avo, poached egg, ryvita..proper cuppa...
smashing stuff
Bring on the day.![]()
We had a walk onto a major Solway Plain raised bog this am. Wedholme Flow. It is a real wilderness area and not a person to be seen but I was a bit tired today to go very far because as the better half said, "You've always got to walk back!" I have never been able to fault her unerring wisdom!![]()
Sorry about the Honda. Yes Derek, I have a mulching mower. Keeps the grass looking rather spiffing. I was as happy as a pig in the proverbial using it back home. Long way to come to borrow itTried to patch up the deck of my Honda self propelle motor mower but its no good I shall have to lash this year.
I would have changed rusted deck (why do they make them of untreated steel) 20 years ago, but it all gets too much when father time takes over.
The honda is a great engine and lasted many years, I shall have to get a new Honda mower.
That's my pocket money gone for a week or two!
Does anyone have a mulching mower?
D.

One of my missions is to prove folks wrong and grow grass here. I think I have sourced seed specifically for sandy soil so game on.Thanks Ian, I thought they would be worth the extraI expense.
I should keep yours, Ian, till you get a bigger garden next time.
My son in law from York reckons his postage stamp sized garden is hard work.
Told Abigail, your Dad's garden would be a nightmare!

What was it? All one needed was two rabbits and a jack knife and you could plow the Brecks! One of my missions is to prove folks wrong and grow grass here. I think I have sourced seed specifically for sandy soil so game on.
Hugs for possibility of big spend on vehicle, winner for Mr Gee getting Jab and no bad side effects.good evening all
4.1 yesterday and 4.8 today
swings and roundabouts
We ate too late for my liking yesterday evening.
Took mr gee to get his 2nd jab yesterday and then via the garage to find out what is ailing the car, mechanic has prognosticated it's the steering rack so I think we shall be rivalling Wilfrid in the 'sharp intake of breath' stakes @Muddy Cyclist
After we got home mr gee decided he needed a nap, hence the late dinnerHe also had quite a long sleep last night but woke up feeling fine with only a slightly stiff arm
Quiet day today, lots of people about in the village though and the caravan site seems well populated, not terribly warm here and it's pretty windy
Hope your day is treating you kindly
@gennepher - very effective creamy moon, it sits well in your landscape and in the colour palette you've used
@dunelm - finely drawn pair of birds today and a nicely balanced composition, I like them very much
@Muddy Cyclist - hugs for the tyre billyour watercolour is coming along nicely, I like it at this stage too
the evolution is interesting.
