What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

7.0 mmols because it's Saturday, that is so frustrating, nearly as much as the footie last night, nearly as much as my bay window, nearly as much as my needing to do chores, shopping and cleaning before, the reds and blues battle! Nearly as much as Mrs L told me she wasn't too impressed with my on line shopping. By the way, she had misremembered that had been delivered, but I was really ****** at her, everything she had asked for was there. My anger, was sharp and I had to apologise. It is hard not to be this way. I know I have issues with my temper, but it is very short lived. But it is there. Another reason for counselling. I know!
I'm trying but it is so difficult! I feel really low today!

Weather is calm but clouds interspersed with a bit of sunshine.

Footie on, exercising half time!

Best wishes

I did this, but then I was messing with it to create something a bit different...
I've put the one I was messing with as a thumbnail and I rather like this one. What do you think?

Have a good day

Waiting for food to cook....

None of us are perfect Lamont it must be very difficult dealing with someone whose world is closing down they must be feeling lost and will repeatedly get the wrong end of the stick.

You still have your football, with well controlled health issues, you can enjoy the stars and have the ability to take in difficult concepts and plan for the future and have your family living near you. This is the contract we agreed to when we got married.

My b.i.l.treated my sister badly she was never washed and in a filthy bed when we went and she was using a bucket. They had hundreds of thousands of pounds saved which he would not spend on her care and he did not use her attendance allowance either but saved it and paid for a horrid home he put her in against her will that gave her bleeding bed sores.

Thanks for sharing both creatives either of which would be a wonderful adornment to anyone's wall. I like the blue background and the amazed look on the faces of the birds. Just what are they puzzled by?

It is so hard!
I would spend every penny, to help her and try and give her so much. I think I always have!
And I recognise that I need help, and I am asking for it, cos I need the tools to prevent my frustration and anger.
I've seen squalor and outright poverty, I have see it in my area and in the town and big city. But not using what you have, just doesn't make sense!
Thanks Derek, you are a good friend!

Anywho, cricket got battered, footie was ridiculous, rugby, who knows?
Weather, turned wet again, forecast wrong again.
Got some fresh cod steaks for tea!

No 7 has been picked for competition with her gymnastics. Only fourth week!
Nos, 2,3 and 4 at the match last night with eldest son.

So yes, family around, youngest son done some chores too heavy for me this morning.
His wife dropped some bits off for us as well.

Middle son is in South sorting some immigration issues down there as part of his team.
Daughter phoned and enjoying her job and those yorkies no1 and 5 are doing well.

So it's more footie to enjoy (huh!) And filling my face!

My best wishes to you all as always.

And the artwork always is impressive, I am so jealous!

The washing machine technologist came this am just after 0800 and got the dryer working, it was an humidity stat behind the tub (again) stopping the dryer working and saying the wet washing was dry.

It was a changed stat this time and not the same part no....a slight modification. Why do they get new models sorted out in the home?

The last AEG washer dryer was excellent but failed at the end of its useful life.

Dylan my 17 year-old grandson plays for Wigginton table tennis club in the Men's second team at York. They play as far north as Pickering and the environs of York and he has agreed to do some voluntary coaching of table tennis at a local school because quite a few kids seem interested.
I hope he doesn't neglect his A levels.

Our dishwasher only worked for 2 or 3 days and this afternoon it broke down again. Neil reckons he's fixed it again, but it really needs someone with the right tools to get in to the insides of it.

Because the A levels are much more fun?

Gotta say, it has always been a passion of mine to push these youngsters to improve their game, which ever game that may be. I did a lot of coaching, and I believe I did succeed in bringing the lads talents and teamwork through to enjoy the game more. From being thrashed whilst in primary school, to competing to league and cup in secondary schools. And not just one group, but four!
And all voluntary!
Level two FA badges.
I always wear my FA and EFL lapel badges on my coat!
I also wear the lapel badges from the charity that helps the prostate cancer. Which with Mind UK, were the main charities in footie, a couple of years back.
Best wishes.

Morning all - just - on England v Springboks double header day. Anyone for Biltong? @Krystyna23040 what a wonderful couple you and Mr K make. He drives you to Norwich, you stay quiet over pork loin (I'm with you on that but fortunately JKP feels the same). @Annb thoughts and prayers with DIL over the op. @lindisfel I hope the jab goes well for Marjorie. Interesting about the effect of the jab but in view of my risk of neutropenic sepsis - little card I carry telling people I may need IV antibiotics within an hour (given response times I'd say good luck with that) - I had the jab. @dunelm thanks for sharing the beautifully observed art and what a kind son you are. Y'all have a good day now.
Thank you @ianpspurs.

Like them both, to my untutored eye the clean an simple to look at, but to achieve that takes years of practice and skill.

We have an excellent firm in Carlisle of repair staff that really know what they are doing. They are used by AEG to fix their white goods that fail under warrantee as yesterday, but we also use them to repair our large white goods that fail.
I can no longer lift heavy kit from inside work tops to check out faults, but anyway I do not have a problem paying for work to be done.
