Creative is an owl painted in Procreate.

My car is the wrong time. An hour out. Yesterday I tried to alter it. Sat in the car ages trying. These things are usually reasonably easy. Not in this car. Tried going through all settings I could find, but it said the clock was automatic and set to the GPS. Then I tried touching the clock on the touchscreen. But nothing happened. So, tried googling. Google tells me that I touch the clock on the touchscreen, and that will give me an option to sort British Summertime. So, tried again. Zilch. Nothing happened.

I cannot even make the clock 10 mins fast. I always have the clock 10 mins fast to make sure I am on time. And I am not allowed to do that now because it is connected to GPS and is automatic....

Time for a cuppa...

Have your best kind of day.

I never interfere with the car clock - far too much fiddling about. I love the colours that you used for this hoot owl and those smashing feathers.

Good afternoon everyone on a drizzle on/drizzle off sort of day here in the dark and dangerous north. Up and out this morning trains, coast, fish and chips (childrens sizes), ice creams, snacks, penny arcades (now 2 new pence at the very least) and a well timed bus when we returned on the train. Six miles in total. Now sat round the dining room table dong art. Little Miss Pamplemouse is teaching us all how to make scratch card by painting a card one colour and then once dry, an overcoat of black paint. Trick or treat later. My art bit, some more birds and a couple of trees. Hope your halloween is spookily good. Just finished my last koffy of the day.

Morning all from an obviously autumnal L.A. @gennepher thank you for sharing the video and owl, hug for the irritation with the "state of the art" timepiece in your car. @Krystyna23040 good news on the demise of the cyst. Was Mr K impressed with how said cyst became an ex-cyst? @lindisfel I hope Marjorie's journeys go smoothly. As for Palm oil avoidance, good luck with that - more pervasive than one knows. I've said before grass fed in the UK means 51% and who knows what goes on the grass, in the soil and into the livestock to avoid disease and "finish" them? These certainly aren't the cattle, sheep, pigs etc God first created. Due diligence only takes one so far. Anyhow, KBO and follow this wise advice
I am not sure if Mr K was impressed with how said cyst became an ex-cyst as he asked me not to recount in great detail the journey from cyst to ex-cyst :)

It went well, back is a lot better thanks to exercises. Next appointment mid December.

Watching covid enquiry, doing chores and trying to have some relaxing time!

Halloween is here!

Plenty of sweets for the little ones no, not me!

Gotta go, Mrs L not in good form!
To be fair, nor am i!

Best wishes.

I would operate on one any day but then again I have also a device for getting wax out of ears.
Have some of you seen the tools that the Romans used to remove ear wax?, I wouldn't recommend their use in modern times.
:) ;)

7.1 this morning.

I got a text from the NHS this morning to say that I am being urgently referred to the skin team to assess the lump. I think the nurse I saw was worried it might be cancer as she hadn't seen one quite like it before.

2 days ago - after reading @lindisfel's post re: cysts - I decided to operate on it. I sterilised a needle and the cyst is no more. It definitely was a sebaceous cyst. It has completely healed but I will continue with the antibiotics until the end of the course.
Excellent and with the antibiotics that will be the end of it.

Hi Harrison what a great idea. FBG 5.6 this morning. I am getting worried about the eye hospital appointment on Friday. My right eye has really deteriorated and I may need injections (yuk!) or laser. There seems to be a bit of rain on and off this morning which the garden needs even if I dont.

@karen8967 I hope you will be ok at work. Take care. Hugs.
@Freema glad you are better after all this time.
Have a great Wed everyone. Stay well, stay safe.

It's really nothing to fret about. I had a series of 4 injections. Didn't feel one of them. Also had laser treatment this summer over 2 sessions. Not the most pleasant experience - mostly felt nothing but a few zaps were like tiny electric shocks. Can barely remember it now

Thank you for the owl compliment @dunelm

That would drive me insane having the car clock one hour fast for 6 months. I found the British Summertime setting, but it is greyed out, it will neither toggle off or on. Google tells me there is a malfunction here. Well I have managed to disable the clock, and I will have a working watch face to attach to the dashboard in a couple of days. And a second one to attach to my handbag.

If the car has to go in for anything, then I will tell the garage to deal with the clock problems then....

If they were lucentis injections I hope the procedure is successful in holding on to your eyesight.

If I remember correctly one can set up the time to any time relative to GMT plus or minus and that is a 10 year old Octavia but with all the bells and whistles.
I wont let it do my parking for me.

One can't do anything on these modern cars without plugging in a computer!

Oh for the days of grease nipples, gapping plugs and setting up the points.

Cat Jade & Fox then badger eating berries off the bush...
This year, 2023, the badgers have stolen all my raspberries and wrecked all my fruit bushes eating the fruit. They have not done this in previous years. The badgers also eat the windfalls from my apple trees. I still have one full tree of late cooking apples...
Next year I will have to make some defence barriers for my raspberries!

Fruit defence barriers against the Brock’s - that will be a challenge. Thank you for the wonderful snowy owl.

Good morning everyone from a damp and overcast start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.7 this am and the forecast is for rain to stop at about 10am. Trick or treat went swimmingly. There was a route round some fancy house decorations and treats planted in six of the community cupboards around the town. Today’s plan is to break up the pumpkin heads and scatter them in the woods. A niece of ours has recently opened a new and pre-loved childrens clothes shop , Here, if you are interested so we called in yesterday and the grandchildren chose a few items. Art bit, trees and birds - how unusual is that! Hope pinch punch rabbits day brings you good fortune. Koffy time.
