What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Just stress why it's up...

Phone video of my little Robin
But this feeder was up the garden, so not very clear, but a nice shot of him hovering in flight.
16secs

Creative...with the 3 Kanji black felts, thin, medium, and the wide flexible one. It is on smooth Bristol Board. The scribble at the left side is just me seeing which size pen I have... need to label them.

I was just doodling this in the early hours. A friend came online who I knew I could talk to about yesterday's events.
I am using voice to text, so I could doodle. It was really me just scribbling, not drawing definite lines
My friend listened, and some more stuff has been said since by this person in Arizona. So, I told her that.
My friend listened to my thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and more.
She came up with her thoughts about the messiness of life's events. And possible scenarios of the past and why. And I gave her my thoughts.
I could say everything I needed to say to her about all this, without holding back.
It was a safe space for me.
And I am doodling/scribbling this picture all the while.
My friend gave me a strategy for today and further questions to ask this Arizona lady.

I am in a much better place this morning.

It is now time for a cuppa tea.

Have your best day...

A weirding tree?
Like the shading. I could never sketch a tree.

Glad you had a chance to talk to your friend about your concerns and glad that it seems to have made you feel a bit more confident in dealing with the Arizona lady.

Your trees have as much life in them as do your sketches of people in the street. Brilliant.

Not long back from my US scan. It went well and, although I know the consultant won't see fit to let me know the result, the radiographer told me that my liver cirrhosis is not worse than before and that the fatty liver part of the condition has improved since last time. Good result.

The day didn't start too well. I was a bit later than usual getting up - slept longer than I expected - until 04.45. By the time I got my limbs moving and check my BG it was 10 past. BG was 5.9. That was OK but things got a bit worse when it came to getting my shower. Our new heating system hasn't worked since they came and put that last radiator in. I think they must have allowed some debris to get into the pipes but didn't flush the system through as I would have expected (or hoped) and now, I think, there may be some debris clogging up the system.

The shower room was cold so I put a little electric heater in to warm the air (I didn't leave it there, of course) and got myself organised with the big plastic boots to cover my bandages. Got into the shower and soaped myself all over and ... the shower packed up! Water pressure too low, it indicated. I tried to get it going again several times, but it wasn't having it so I had to run a basin full of warm water (we did at least have that) and pour jugs of water over myself to rinse off the soap. Not happy. Hungry too because until after the scan I couldn't have anything other than water. Cold too because the temperature outside at 8 degrees is warmer than inside the house. Back to 3 layers to keep warm.

And now I've let my first cup of tea today, go cold. Silly me!

Never mind - my liver is no worse and could even be said to be a bit better, so all's good.

6.3 this torrential Tuesday.
It's very wet here this morning.
It's not warm either, heating came on automatically during the night.

Been busy today with chores and shopping and pharmaceuticals and Mrs L 's duties, phone calls and such.
Hopefully a non grandchild day, as I love them but they do knackered me out.

Thank you @Annb

Thanks for the tree compliments. Since being a child I always believed tres were really alive entities...

Hugs for all the shower and radiator issues @Annb

Good afternoon. @gennepher thank you for sharing the superb creative and the video. Hopefully the chat with your friend will provide a way forward with the mystery Arizonan lady. @Annb hug for #showergate but the US sounds positive so now I've thought about things I'm giving you a winner. @Krystyna23040 enjoy the break - the dog menu looks good. All those who packed their warm, winter woollies away may be regretting being too hasty. Enjoy as many minutes of Tuesday as possible.

Good morning everyone on a splendidly quiet start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Recovery day today after all the gallivanting about over the bank holiday weekend. Car to drop off for service and MOT so I expect that I will be several bags of denarii worse off. Humbug! There is a garden centre within walking distance of the garage and Mrs Miggins is keen to track down a specific rose in the David Austin range of expensive sounding plants. Bah! I expect that rules out another week without paying the below stairs staff - hang about, that’s me! Art bit - a tree branch. I am expecting it to be reported as Tuesday today so hope you take all advantages. I am going to start with some koffy.

Good afternoon @dunelm
Unless the names have changed for times of day....

A brilliant tree branch there....very effective....

6.1 this morning.
Everything packed. Almost ready to leave.
We are off to Dunwich Heath for a lovely walk and then coffee in the NT Coastguard Cottages Tea rooms before going on to our hotel at Westleton.

Will catch up with posts later.
Had a holiday in the pub in Westeleton in the 1950s then it got very expensive. Westelton pub got very expensive. The heath was good for birds.

Thank you for sharing today's art. I'm sure the garage, garden centre and UK economy all appreciate your custom. Just how much have you spent? FTSE is down by .78% :D
