@flexi06 good to see you back, I’ve been wondering where you’ve been. I’ve missed your cheerful and funny posts.

@johnpol I hope you’re ok now, I don’t know how long it takes to get over a hypo but it sounds like you’re still suffering the effects - take care, and good luck with the telling off.

@rhubarb73 I agree with you, some of the threads are a bit offputting. Glad it’s so friendly on here.
 
Morning diabetes massive from the Costa Del Fenland. 4.9 today which would get a could do better were I writing its report - mostly to kick it up the fundament. Whether the sub 5 was due to Nordic walking and no food after or late night star gazing with armagnac I know not. But more pleasing was sleep hrs, weight and resting pulse rate all in the "top set"
@Terrytiddy hope all goes well with MOT and presumably follow up chat. @rhubarb73 I agree this is less Gazza Strip than some threads. @johnpol best wishes for telling off day but you seem as though you can give as good as get mate. @flexi06 love you posts - you rock!
@DJC3 I started a PM to you to avoid clogging the exercise thread but the chromebook ate my homework sir. If a weird message appears that was probably it.

Good morning all. 6 this am. Unimpressed with that. Mot with lung doc this afternoon, trying to get to the bottom of chest pain I have for the past 2 years. Should be interesting.

Picking up on @johnpol theme, of the annual telling off. I do think doctors dont feel that they have given value for money unless they find something to criticize. A divertsional tactic to hide their own shortcomings. I don’t sound sceptical at all, do I.

It's rumoured that there is no foot the ball on the idiot box.

A low for me 5.2 this morning. I went to bed wif a large gin and tonic, well it doesn't snore or pull the sheet orf me. I reckon alcohol lowers my blood sugars by 1.0 -1.5 units.

Well folks today enjoy today, no naked sunbathing well if you must !

@alf_Josiah Not sure that will ever replace English as our language but who am I to judge. @Canvaspic there is something in your, perhaps slightly jaundiced, view of the medical profession but good luck with the lung/chest investigation. @Goacher55 the chagrin at 6.1 shows how much your hard work has affected your views on what is possible for yourself - I assume Drs and DNs laid on the old progressive, irreversible schtick pretty thick?

@geefull Since I don't imagine you to be painfully slow, that is a very good crop of blackcurrants to string - what will you do with them all?. This used to be a very big soft fruit area but all of that went even before tree fruit died out. On the main point of this thread another fine and dandy fbg
