Brilliant cars, easy to drop in 2.8 cologne engine with 5 speed. One of my best friends fabricated engine mounts and put a 2.8 into a mark 1 Escort along with wiring loom. I had customised mark 4's and 5'.LIKE that.....she's beautiful.x
Had a daytona yellow mk3..loved it..bets car i ever had,..wish they still made them (not mine, no pics sadly )
One of the easiest cars i have ever worked on, to boot.
Great fbg level @ziggy_w. I too googled my dario and watched some videos from their website. Need to customise their app as some parts don't suit me and can't yet see how to link it to fitbit. Strips are double the price of Tee2 so an interesting present.Good morning all.
@Ziggy2017 -- Hugs. Hope you are feeling better soon. Let us know what the HCPs at the hospital say if you decide to go.
@ianpspurs -- Just googled "my dario." Seems pretty nifty.
Fasting blood sugars today were 4.6.
Pleased to hear I'm not the only one who gets medical apparatus as presents. Last year Santa brought me a blood pressure monitor, many thought that a weird gift , including my diabetes nurse. I thought it was FAB... I love a bit of data...Morning all. No testing this morning partly due to investigating what Dario/MyDario monitoring system is all about. I was given that system as a Christmas present from my sons so would like to say I have used it and found it useful. Anyone on here have any experience of it?
Have simply spiffing days and pip pip old toots.
The devices and data are obviously useful for people who know what the data means and how to use that knowledge. Can't help feeling the evidence shows I am not in that group. I am stuck on the information level of the data - information - knowledge continuum of bg management. Hopefully the blood pressure monitor has been useful for you.Pleased to hear I'm not the only one who gets medical apparatus as presents. I have also been reluctant to part with the 'interim' stuff in case I put more than a bit of weight back on, that was the pattern of my weight loss for most of my life.
Local charity shop had a mini bonanza when I cleared my wardrobe out of the clothes that no longer fitted and after losing 8 and a half stone that was most all I had some hardly ever worn bonus is I now can wear all the gear my grandson can no longer get into and he always bought designer clothes. That's me to a tee! Bought a new pair of brand name jeans on the way down and only wore them half a dozen times before they were too baggy. It's ironic that I don't want to chuck them but hope never to wear them. I guess they serve as a useful reminder.
Morning all. Meter today tells me 4.0. Hope everyone has a good day
I think if you look at a thing for long enough you get to know what it is for. Hopefully your present is of value, mine from last year gets used as a regular thing , just in case while I think I'm doing the right thing I might be able to do it just a bit betterThe devices and data are obviously useful for people who know what the data means and how to use that knowledge. @geefull great fbg as per usual. Really good to hear your weight loss/stabilisation news so sort that wardrobe out - just don't go into those woods and near that lamppost
