What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Glkadys and Elsie 2 Tenas day. Hold my nose and follow Elsie - whistle a happy tune? Steam rising from our fence on the sunny side. Few minutes of an Elbow day (1DLT). Keep 'em peeled droogs.

5.3 today after a day of not eating much. In fact dinner was 2 glasses of champagne and a piece of low carb cake (to celebrate a family birthday)
You did well to stick to that at a celebration! Well done

Back here, a healthy looking 5.9. If only I trusted these meters and test strips I could be a happy girl with that.

I am a mere novice at ianpspursspeak, but I get it, I think..
I've given up ever trying to get ianspursspeak.! Life's too short and I have enough troubles....lol

Fbg was 5.5 this morning. Today, I had two slices of low carb bread, a whole pack of macadamias late at night, and no exercise, so will probably see higher levels tomorrow. Sometimes wished I had more self-control.

6.3 today - the red meat effect! Maybe I should stick to champagne and cake which seems to give better fbg.
@BrianDoc it’s probably just the dawn phenomenon - search on the forum to explain more. ( I’m no good at adding links here)
@ziggy_w nobody can have willpower when faced with a pack of macadamia nuts ( at least I couldn’t either)
 
Morning All 6.0 so rather pleasing..well you can’t get closer to a 5 can you!
@ziggy_w know the feeling I have polished off the last of the hazelnuts and won’t buy them again in a hurry as I find them irresistible even when they’re not encased in chocolate or ground into pralines.
