What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

8.2 - Meah… stuck again. This “string” of eights is hitting my 365 day average, which I set for myself of 5.8 <>7.0 now down to only 29%. Ouch! These Hateful Eights are starting to concern me. I really can’t see this as being solely diet. Time for an even stronger, relevant review.

FBG 8.2 this morning - glad i didn’t grumble as for some unknown reason i managed to drop 3.2mmol by lunch and would have been in hypo land if i was at my prefered 5-6. Breakfast carb count was hopefully super accurate as it was a breakfast bar and read straight off the label.

8.2! Snapsies! I’ve, again, resigned myself to accepting that the longer haul is a longer haul, and that, in itself, means that even if lower numbers are to be sustained, for me, patience is not only a virtue, it’s a darn necessity. My EndoSys and cells have a mighty long metamorphosis cycle, even more than I had had realised back in 2019 with my 15.0 (HBA1C 89 and now 46)

In other News: Interviewing our third Paint ‘n Dec for “Castile Estragon” this Monday.

@Estragon I know you need the patience of a saint sometimes with this condition
Yes, of course. I just feel "daft" coming back here and time and time again posting this yo-yo-ing. Also, I have this thought that I am doing myself harm by NOT achieving sustainable 5s and 6s, that others do.
