What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Back from my early morning endoscopic ultrasound….ohhhh, I’m a little groggy. Thought I’d check my glucose and it’s 6.0, pretty good for after procedure! No nasties found by the doctor and I’m cleared to fly to Mexico. Just will need a yearly MRI to check things. He said things are pretty messy in there….but no masses! I’m so very happy.

So, 7.1 at 4.30am, forgot to wash hands, did again, 5.8 didn't trust it did again, 5.7. All on same pinky. Not sure I trust any of it.. @Bcgirl great news from you. Enjoy the sunshine! all that vitamin D!

Good morning All .....
Had an amazing BG reading 5.8 mmol on waking @ 3.05 am.
3 hours later, no food or drink and BG has risen to a still impressive 7.9mmol.
I think these are my best figures, since starting this journey.
Must back it up, with more of the same tomorrow.

Yes, fbg but via Swipey and with 8 years of data not quite Bazball level for me. Did I mention I don't like winter, wearing socks, trousers or stupid numbers of layers? When I grow up I want to be a grumpy old G.I.T.

I'd book into a tropical naturist resort for a while if I were you.
Nobody would mind the lack of clothes, it would be nice and sunny and you can just chill, whinge and be grumpy till your hearts content.
