What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Had a good run in the 6's over last few days but increased to 7.3 this morning. Nothing of course to do with the chocolate last night before bed as I sort of hoped that the overnight lows would compensate for a brief lapse. Oh well at least I know there is no letting up on strict diet choices.

Congrats to @NewbieHelp you did all the work we just cheer from the sides. Have a good Friday everyone.
Thank you!
It’s more than cheer from the sides… it’s support and encouragement and people taking time to explain things and answer questions…. I’m much more knowledgeable and aware of what I need to do to get to where I want to be … thanks to the members here x

libre 5.4. reduction with toujeo seems to be better on graph more or less flat overnight :)

So tempted to just skip fiasp fast acting altogether and pop to the swimming pool to burn off the sugars today, stomach bruising getting worse from injections. i really need to get over fear of change and start injecting at more locations eg thighs / upper arms and bahookie

Down 5 units toujeo since diagnosis :) meals ratio changed 1:10 now testing 1:25 DSN telephone appt Tuesday

"Winner" is for the fasting blood glucose result which is what this thread is named after but hugs for the bruising you are experiencing. It must be difficult having to inject every day.

I think its the multiple injections a day (4) which is causing the bruising or perhaps the needle length or something. Been refused 4mm depth needles when asked. frequently feels like injecting into muscle and a little blood I'm of pretty slight build (compared to 18 months ago) from size XL trousers now Medium :O might have to get some small trousers if continues medium already slipping off without belt fastened. lost over 20kg (around 3 stone) in a very very short timespan 6-8 months prior to diagnosis
