What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

good morning all :)

4.6 for me today

it bounced down with rain all night here, fortunately it's abated a bit now but there is still a small river running down the road outside. Don't think that we'll be walking mum's dog today ;) the farm road is likely to be 'extreme' puddled and she's not a very tall dog :hilarious:

I never really post advice as I don't have enough knowledge on D myself .
Only thing I want to say is I have found exercise like walking swimming etc can be so so beneficial for numbers and general health.
I have started a 2 mile walk each morning and have noticed quite a drop in my finger test results.
Hope you have a fun weekend .

Thanks! Yes I'm going back to the swimming this week, have an ankle injury so longer walks are out but hopefully the swimming will make a difference. Enjoy your weekend too :D :cat:

Yes, swimming.
I have been known to bore many with extolling the benefits of swimming and / or water based exercise for those of us who struggle with all other forms of exercise. It really helped me to get better BG control, and helped with weight loss without too much muscle wasteage. Maybe because a couple of hours in the water means less time or inclination to eat too much.
Sleeping a lot gives less time to eat, more time to fast. Which is my excuse / reason for not waking until 11am today. I think DP had been and gone as my waking BG reading was 6.2. Not as low as I would like, but heading in the right direction.
