What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.7 this morning after a pretty awful night's sleep plus a shop-bought naan bread (for some reason, actual restaurant/takeaway naan doesn't seem to spike me as much)

Morning all. Good to see you back @SaskiaKC. 6.2 on Swipey from 16 gms carb and the regulation 10k steps. Any other course of treatment would be abandoned with those results never mind the taste. Grandson out of hospital but not breathing too well. 91 yo MIL being "weaned" off oxygen so thanks be to God for that. Just the two long term issues bubbling away. Hideous day for Julie yesterday. What fun chums.

Oh my eye!! - Back in March April 2020, I was lying in Hospital Bed with one eye on the O2 Stats Machine, and being "weaned-off", very scary.

6.8 this morning due methinks to the takeaway we had in work don't mind the numbers if fact they aren't too bad all things considered . When you can sort of pinpoint the reason its easier but when you get a high reading and can't see why it is more frustrating .

Positive news about the Grandson and hoping MIL continues to improve. Hugs for Julie and praying that those other two long term issues resolve themselves positively. Keep your chin up. C.

Thanks @PenguinMum @karen8967 and @Ryhia. Grandson now back in hospital. "It is good for me that I have been in trouble that I may learn thy statutes." Ps 119 v 71. I is a very slow learner right now. All this extra tuition is hard work. Congratulations @Estragon and bg pales into insignificance against batting COVID IMHO. Have another celebration today.
