Morning All. Another 6.2 which is ok after bad night. @Marianne67 how could you not enjoy your child’s marriage festivities! You are so cheerful about it all and your determination will get you there. Happy Wednesday everyone.
7.4 this morning, coming back down nicely. @ianpspurs, painful yes but so lucky it was not worse. I rolled my car and am still dazed at how I walked away. I must say the Fire service, police and NHS staff at Derriford Hospital were just fantastic.
4.9 today. The house we are staying in lost its Sky satellite dish during the storm yesterday otherwise everything ok. It was too windy to go out but we are in the company of good friends so we just talked up our own storm. I'm sure the world will be a better place today as a result Good blessings to you all.
4.6 this morning. Slept well last night and didn't wake up at 3am thinking 'I really could do with another couple of hours'. Seems my body likes a decent night's sleep.
5.2 from Swipey here in a hotel room in Southampton. No 2 ( I need to learn his name) son is 34 today - after 8.15 - so we are visiting. This will blow the fuses of the LC pearl clutchers: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Hugs (and jellybabies?) for @karen8967 and just hugs @JohnEGreen and @Marianne67. Definitely a gentle hug for @McHelen. @Ryhia great fbg but always take sky (sport basically) with you on the tablet- schoolboy error@PenguinMum same badge, different day. Booyakasha as they say down here - honest.
A few higher than usual numbers on here this morning, hugs to all if they are unexpected.
Puppy is obviously good for your health @BranDoc have I missed a photo?
This morning 7.0 on Tee2 . what? Retested on Caresens and got 5.6. I’m going with that.
I keep getting odd readings from the Tee2 recently.
6.3 this morning, much better than yesterday, unfortunately I seem to have woken up with a cold. Lateral flow is negative, all my kids have caught this cold so I guess after a weekend with them I was bound to get it.
Also, turns out in Australia if you buy cold meds over the counter they come as an injection you have to administer yourself, and Lemsip is a bubble-bath.
I did swipe today but can't trust any readings since about August. Elsie has become totally dysfunctional across a huge spectrum. not just bg control. I was warned, we all were but some find it works. Back from Southampton- even the M25 played nice. Oh, sharing a 58 oz porterhuse steak with my son for his birthday is far less satiating or pleasurable than mackerel salad and not even on the same planet as salmon and avocado salad. He enjoyed it though so job done.
