Nice to meet you T1DJimMine was 5.4 when I got up at 4:30AM, higher than I like as I spike with Foot-to-floor syndrome within 30 minutes of rising.
Regardless of what my waking BG is, I infuse 1.5-2.0 units of Novorapid (split between immediate and extended bolus) prior to getting out of bed. D
Nice to meet you all, I'm new on the forum but have lived 57 years with T1D (in Canada )
Good perspective my man. I have a feeling hot weather may adversely affect bg levels but as always there will be contradictory scientific "evidence" and posters who thrive in such conditions.8.1 - Yesterday in the 6s. No carbs and I wake up on this HATEFUL-8…. Patience of Job.
Hope the review goes as well as it should since your routine is exemplary. Still in my prayers just for belt and braces.Had a glass of wine last night which is why my bloods were 4.6 this morning.
I have my annual diabetic review this afternoon. Still no news on the bloods front from the hospital those results seem to have gone AWOL- GP surgery hasn't heard anything either. May give the hospital a ring later today. I have been told to expect to have my bloods taken this afternoon regardless. I'll probably just let them, might be interesting to do a comparison.
