What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Good morning folks. A 6.6 for me at 0700 and searching for reasons why - read excuses.
Did I eat too much? No, a very light lunch and a healthy salmon poke bowl for dinner with a slice of virtually no carb bread.
Too many carbs? No, see above.
Lack of exercise? no, 6 miles yesterday.
A minutus, teeny sliver of chocolate nicked of Mrs Miggins at 10pm? Of course not. Ridiculous.
No wine last night? Yes, absolutely, got there eventually.

Have a great Sunday if you can.

Well today was an experience, woke up to a 16!!!

I had a takeaway with a friend last night and tried to eat only a small bit and as I had skipped lunch I thought it would be OK. Obviously not. You can never tell how much sugar or other extra’s they put in the dishes... last night I woke up 3 times feeling sick but stupidly didn’t get up to test as I felt so rough.

I’m currently getting ready to go on a long walk this morning to get them down. On the walk home I will find a shop to buy some eggs for breakfast...

Hope all of your sundays start better than mine :)
Hugs sb25 x

And that's the gamble of fast foods, sadly @SB.25 .

That why I now avoid unless it's something I can clearly see is ok.
And can spot the dangers easily.
As in a kebab...meat, salad, bread

Hope your day gets better.
.
Yes I knew it was a gamble. It was my best friends birthday and I already had to miss out going for cocktails with her as sadly last time I had a cocktail I went up to 25!! So I said let’s get a takeaway instead ... clearly that plan failed :banghead:

I feel a bit worried as I’m going away to Budapest with a group of friends in a few weeks and I feel it’s gonna be difficult to try to control what I’m eating as I’m not familiar with their food. Think will just have to stick with eating meat and cheese to be safe.

So frustrating being 26, trying to maintain a good social life with friends and deal with all of this!

My consultant appointment can’t come soon enough!

good morning all :)

4.5 today

whoosh it's windy here, peeped out the front door and it felt like it was trying to remove my eyebrows :hilarious:

it's wet and unpleasant here this morning but perhaps it will improve later but I admit I'm not fond of winter personally ;)

Off to make some little LCHF lemon flavoured spicy cakes for my pudding.

Hope your day treats you well :)

Morning all. Just popped in to wish you all well in these mad times. For me January has been alcohol free, coffee free and testing free. Fitbit tells me last night I had 5 mins restless/awake so total success on that front. Not sure what I do about living in a land where 5% of the population deny the Holocaust:banghead::banghead::banghead:
Edit: Madder and madder in Ingerland. Birmingham gridlocked by visit of Youtube beauty Vlogger. Putting butter on yer butter is now officially sane so carry on folks.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all foot the ball fans, time to get worried if your team has 28 points or less.
I awoke to a gentle 6.4 and the sound of a 747 jumbo jet landing in the road outside, then realized it somebody snoring, I'm not saying who!
Well today folks whatever time zone and reality you think you exist in enjoy yourselves, remembering at the same time ( another variable ) it's all a dream.

There is another world out the which younger persons participate in, "we" take our daughters to an event called Upload at Tabacco Dock, Wapping London. Young persons are as excited to see these YouTubers as equivalent Beatle mania and the like. These YouTubers are millionaires with huge followers - politicians beware.
