good evening all
4.8 yesterday and 4.7 today
back to the charity 'big shed' yesterday and I'm amazed how tiring and background stressful it was just being around more people than usual, though we have our own little area where we are mostly well social distanced
Fortunately the reported cases are low for our area, the only large group of cases this side of Inverness were from an offshore supply ship and were transferred direct to quarantine.
Highlight donation of the first week back was a baby grand piano

, we didn't think it would be a quick sale, but, we were wrong

it was only on display for half a day when someone paid a deposit on it.
We got something to eat on the way home and then when I got home I sat down and just fell asleep.
So we had a quiet day today
Hope your day is treating you well
@dunelm - I like both paintings, the cool blue minimalist one works so well and the blossom is lovely, especially how you've given the different areas a different feel. Our trees haven't quite got to that stage yet so I hope the wind and snow haven't blasted them.
@SlimLizzy - I hope things settle down and go smoothly for you and that you get Errant sorted for travel.
@gennepher - two lovely paintings from your series, I've been enjoying them very much. The first has quite a mysterious sea and sky and the texture you've brought into the water area and the strong colour in the second one is striking and effective
@Muddy Cyclist - you'd certainly need a few extra layers to play outside here, though we are supposed to get a bit warmer over the weekend
@ianpspurs - good dog walking by the look of it
@lindisfel - a beautiful scene with that sky and the snow on the high peaks, we have a lot more snow on the hills again here at the moment too.
art bit - I feel I should apologise in advance for the 'sameyness' of some of the upcoming pictures
because I'm trying out different papers it seemed a good idea to try things I'm familiar with on each type so I could get an idea of how differently the paper behaves.
Darker clouds and showers today.
