What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Yes, of course. I just feel "daft" coming back here and time and time again posting this yo-yo-ing. Also, I have this thought that I am doing myself harm by NOT achieving sustainable 5s and 6s, that others do.
If you are doing the best you can to manage The D after doing your due diligence why feel daft? T2 is capricious and LCHF is just a theory. The Big Picture ™ is that the majority of us find our fbg and all other bg checks consistently inconsistent. This morning's posts are Exhibit A, M'Lud.

Don’t ever feel daft or else we’re all daft. I used to have 5s then it went to 6s and now I’m firmly stuck in the 7s but my HbA1c in March only went up by 1 point. We all strive for a FBG we are comfortable with but really its not as important as our rises after food. and avoiding prolonged peaks. Lets just carry on carrying on.

And this afternoon: 5.4. So, peeps, something DOES work. This was after breakfast of Celery, Turkey steak, stinky cheese and Polish Chicken Sausage and nuts.

8.7 - And this after a 5.4 yesterday afternoon.

BBQ weather today!

Morning All. 7.5 so firmly stuck in the scary sevens but guess what eating carefully and no snacking. Whatever. I will carry on carrying on, nothing else for it. Enjoy the sunshine if you can.

8.8 @ 4:00am

Another week scrambles into view.

5.4 this morning. don't know if I pressed the post button yesterday but bloods were the same as today. Have a good day all.
