Home made chicken curry with chopped fresh coriander and raita made with English mint from garden and hm yoghurt. Served with a low carb roti - reheated in frying pan with a knob on butter.
I love the cooling effect of raita @shelley262 with a hot, spicy dish like curry. In warm weather, I like to stir in cucumber matchsticks with the coriander. Alternatively, thinly sliced onion works well.

@Antje77 I’m still laughing at your mashed egg serving dish - I had to do a double take
@shelley262 I’m envious of your gorgeous looking wild salmon and local asparagus.
My first meal was brunch of M&S posh sausage and fried eggs (from daughters chickens)
Mowed the lawn then sat in the glorious sunshine with a can of Tennants Light ( same alcohol but only 0.7g carb per can)
Dinner was pasture raised ribeye steak, mushrooms, halloumi fries and a mixed salad dressed with ACV and evoo. A glass of low carb Malbec. IMG_1717268616.882272.jpg

That's my neighbour for you, it's his favourite serving dish whenever he has unsuspecting visitors. :hilarious:
This time it was me doing the plating, it simply was the first dish I found in his cupboard, all fine with me.

It's a good thing a very tasty meal doesn't have to look appetising!
Scrambled duck eggs with a spicy chorizo and oyster mushrooms on LC bread with cheese spread.

Chicory and hummus will follow for a midnight snack to add some more veggies. :hungry:

No proper cooking as I was waiting for the roadside recovery mechanic who was coming at 6 pm, 7:30 pm and so on, and I figured they would come right at a crucial moment in the kitchen so I didn't dare to cook.

Apparently the mechanic is on their way now at 9:30 pm, good thing the car broke right in front of my home.

Delicious slice of buttered LC bread with sambal badjak (a type of hot sauce), topped with oyster mushrooms, halloumi, chorizo and onion. :hungry:
