I've been there. carbs begat carbs, it can feel like a cycle that is hard to break. I don't think people who have not been there really understand how elevated blood sugar makes you feel hungry. There is a great feeling of liberation on the other side of the denial you mention.Wispa, boost, magnum bar, sarnie, kettle chips, Maynard gums, beans on toast. In a state of denial. Waiting on follow up app at gp. A1c was 94, last finger test 16. Finding hard to adjust until I get diagnosis
Gosh those blackberries are early ripening - not there yet in Midlands although this evening I picked my first outdoor tomatoes - definitely earlier than normal despite later planting outdoors due to cool early spring. My raspberries are very poor (small and not many) this year - it's been way too dry!Rushed breakfast- 1 slice of corned beef on 1 slice of cheese.
Rushed lunch: sausage sandwich in Heylo bread. 2 squares DGF Dubai bar.
Dinner: h/m moussaka with chopped mixed salad. DGF cake and a handful of blackberries I picked today. I was surprised they were ripe already, has anyone else noticed them? ( I’m in Cornwall)
