Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

4.8 ( a bit relieved with rice and naan with curry last night)
 
Forgot to post yesterday, I got distracted by a ping from Track and Trace and packing to return home from holiday!
Anyway yesterday was 5.5 and today is 5.0 :)

I am new to this forum!
My FBS are rising to the 8.0 mark, despite the food I ate the previous night ( which tends to be low carb).
I would be very grateful for advice on how I can lower my FBS. I have tried a little intermittent fasting but noticed my blood sugar shoots up significantly to >10 until i eat my first meal- is this supposed to happen ?
I have tried apple cider vinegar before bed, but that doesn’t v s much impact unfortunately.
Any advice appreciated, thanks.
