We have fit four adults and four older kids (two boys two girls) in to a two bedroom unit, and we did not give up our bedroom either.Anyone know how to fit 8 people: two couples, one single male, two children and a baby into two small bedrooms and a motorhome?
Sorry for your colicky pain and higher fbg. I hadn't heard of adult colic before so your discomfort taught me something. Just looked it up.Yesterday after a momentous night of colicky pain I had a slice HiLo toast and tea about 2pm then a bowl of soup at 6pm. Otherwise just sips of water. Still got a high FBG today.
Thats what it felt like but I dont really know what it was other than OH called the paramedic out I was in such a state.Sorry for your colicky pain and higher fbg. I hadn't heard of adult colic before so your discomfort taught me something. Just looked it up.
I wasn't "having a go" and have total sympathy. Just associated colic with children but it sounds very unpleasant so I hope it all resolves itself fast.Thats what it felt like but I dont really know what it was other than OH called the paramedic out I was in such a state.
Nor me Ian and thanks for your concern.wasn't "having a go"

I usually blame Metformin for my colicky pain - sometimes very fierce - painful enough to make one feel nauseous and sweaty. But I'm pretty sure it is just colic - first time it was investigated the surgeon found some malignant polyps, so just as well he had a look, but the problem seems to be just the Metformin - even after years of taking it. My son, who now has Crohn's disease, used to suffer severe colic when he was a baby, don't know if there is a connection there. Probably there was since he is allergic to lactose amongst a hundred other things.
Anyway - breakfast was a mushroom omelette.
Lunch was some baked fish (bought haddock and salmon yesterday from the Stornoway Fishermen's co-op but they weren't as fresh as I would have liked so I baked the whole lot and had a little for lunch. Jury is out on whether I can actually do anything with the rest if I freeze it.
Dinner will be roast chicken and roast vegetables. I roasted the veg with some garlic and a couple of bird's eye chillies. I took one little piece of roasted squash to make sure it was done but didn't realise that one of the chillies was stuck to it. Ouch!!! It didn't stay in my mouth very long and half a glass of milk, a dollop of yoghurt, some grapefruit juice and half an hour later, the burn started to subside. I'll be more careful with the rest. I like the flavour of chilli but don't actually like eating them.
difficulty will be bathroom access, anyone sleeping in main room will have visitors to and fro all night. We have fit four adults and four older kids (two boys two girls) in to a two bedroom unit, and we did not give up our bedroom either.
A coin was tossed for the other bedroom, so one set of adults got a bed.
The rest all slept on camp stretchers and pump up queen size mattresses in the lounge, our two grandsons slept in my office.
Edit: Clarity
Guzzunders?difficulty will be bathroom access, anyone sleeping in main room will have visitors to and fro all night.
