Seems to be a lot of that happening at the moment. Difficult to work out the reason. Could be eating more, stress, less exercise, illness - as you rightly say who knows?I keep having periods of time (2 or 3 days at a time often) when my BG is high, then it drops down again for a day or so and then up again. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.
Just dawned on me @Goonergal - were you asking me thisI sometimes use Nando's if I can get it but I make my own too. You can scale it up and it keeps for about 6 months in a cupboard. I keep it in a kilner jar.
2 tablespoons each of
Paprika
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Ground coriander
1 tablespoons each of
Salt
Dried oregano
Dried parsley
2 teaspoons each of
Ground ginger
Ground cardamom
1 teaspoon each of
Smoked paprika
Cayenne pepper
If you want to increase the heat increase the cayenne - anything up to 1 tablespoon (but that is seriously hot).

I don't know what I've had but I'm getting over it now. The upset tummy has gone but still left with the rotten headache. Today my FBG was down to 10.2 and I'm hoping for single numbers tomorrow. Its a PITA that every time I get any illness no matter how minor my BG ramps up to silly numbers!
