The butter I like best is Sainsbury TTD West Country salted. I’ve tried lots and this remains my favourite. Its not the cheapest on the shelf and I wouldn’t use it for baking (not that I do it).Is " Good Butter " the same as " Best Butter " that was a term used when I was growing up
Could you say how you make the Edam toast please. Is it simply grilled slices of Edam?B- scrambled eggs and sauerkraut.
L- leftover tuna nuggets, Edam ‘toast’ with Brussels pate and a couple of cherry toms for colour. H/m yoghurt with seeds to follow.

It sounds delicious! I’ll definitely be giving it a go! Thank youIt’s microwaved. Just a slice from a packet, on baking parchment and zap for 1-2 mins. ( in my microwave 1min 30sec works well) it’s great, I use it to dip in boiled eggs, or just as a snack on its own.
I've had that black cherry chocolate before. Seriously addictive! No breakfast

When home Montezumas Black cherry chocolate, only 4 sqs, must resist the rest
I keep on doing this. Cooked my lamb tagine but I don't feel like eating so it's just going to wait until breakfast. Haven't even had much to drink today - that's bad and I must try to get more fluids in before bed.Problems getting shopping this week - the car is still in the garage (no news on that yet), Alistair is using his at present and Neil is suffering the effects of this chesty cold, so doesn't feel like going on the bus to town and lugging back a load of shopping. A taxi would cost about £50 for the round trip, so that isn't on. Tried to get a delivery slot from Tesco - thought I had one, in fact, but got that wrong. The first I can get is for next Saturday so I've gone for that. We've run out of yoghurt and are going to run out of milk by Saturday. I have some eggs, so will have to make them last - not even sure that Tesco will deliver eggs anyway, they didn't last time. I'm surprised these days by the amount of fresh food that Tesco doesn't have available. Every 2nd request, it seems is "currently not available".
In any case, breakfast is going to be eggs - scrambled, I think.
2nd meal is going to be lamb tagine.
There's loads of stuff in the freezer anyway, so I won't go short of food - just maybe not what I wanted.
They are also nice cut smaller and used a s crisps or tortilla chips, especially if sprinkled with paprika or other herbs spices. Just a few are really filling. It sounds delicious! I’ll definitely be giving it a go! Thank you
Yep, the whole bar disappeared in just 2 days, a quarter yesterday and the other 3 quarters today. Far too easy to eat. Back on the plain 85% from here on.I've had that black cherry chocolate before. Seriously addictive!
Neil is borrowing Alistair's car tomorrow and will do my shopping for me. I've asked him to get Edam slices, if he can, or just a block of Edam, or the same with Gouda. Unfortunately, the Gouda our supermarkets sell seems only to come in thinish single slices - just one slice per pack. Might not be worth the bother. I was also wondering about Leerdammer - never bought it but I wonder if it is a kind of Gouda. I've seen that sold as packs of a few slices. They are also nice cut smaller and used a s crisps or tortilla chips, especially if sprinkled with paprika or other herbs spices. You can also use other waxy type cheese such s gouda (cheddar doesn't work)
